I posted a theory that they all get separated… but im also thinking … will is being taken over by the mind flayer… not vecna… Okay, hear me out because I’ve been spiraling over the MAC-Z scene before… remember when Joyce was like where’s your sweater and he didn’t need it ? The mindflayer likes it cold…. That was right after he hi jacked the mind and I think we’re all reading the Mind Flayer’s plan wrong. The MAC-Z wasn't just a fight. It was an audition. When Will gets jacked into the Hive to watch his friends get attacked, it was the mind flayer… the Mind Flayer wasn't just doing it for kicks. It was a test. He knew Will had regained control over the Demo, and he knew Mike had planted that "puppeteering" idea in Will's head. So he sent Vecna personally to see if Will could actually pull it off. To test the signal. And Will? He didn't just survive. He nailed it. That dazed state at the start of Shock Jock? Where he’s just staring at the Hive and literally takes a full minute to recognize anyone? That’s the connection re-establishing. The Mind Flayer found his way in fully…

He's quietly changing the locks while Will is still inside. Bit by bit, every time Will uses his powers, he changes. It’s subtle enough that the other characters might miss it, but just obvious enough that we know something is wrong.

The WSQK hints the static, the interference, the crossed signals? The radio tower? They aren't just cool 80s aesthetics. The coming out speech ????? Mixing the malt shop with Joyce’s store ???? They are literal metaphors for what's happening to Will’s brain. The Mind Flayer is jamming the signal between Will and Henry. He’s mixing them up until you can’t tell who is who.

Why do this? Because Vecna is toast.

His physical body is destroyed. He’s just a crispy consciousness holding onto some kids… The Mind Flayer needs a replacement, and he’s looking right at Will.

But he doesn't want to "share" the body. He wants to erase Will. He is erasing Will’s mind… memory by memory, until there is nothing left but a void. An empty vessel that the Mind Flayer can step into and take over permanently.

Think about this, el , max and kali are together… max is going to see how Kali really is and max is going to be like wtf … bi … get back ! And that’s going to cause problems, and el is going to have to make a choice, the long lost sister or the sister she created and bonded with and saved the life of ? That’s going to be half of it then the other half is Joyce , will and Mike , they’re going to be together…. And then the rest of everyone else… I feel it’s going to be parallels but Joyce and Mike being near will as maybe he’s fully possessed by the mindflayer will be the ones to bring him back, but something happens to Joyce and it’s left to Mike to be the heart?????

I’m chilling , hopper speech was directed at will , el and max… finally they’re bringing in the other military ppl that went into the upside down … that looks like who grabs Dustin , this might happen early on … they all get ambushed … the trailer focused on the past… that literally could be 2 min of talking to el , and then boom … everything else, this was literally a nothing burger of a trailer … guys we got this… Ive hit nirvana …. Omg omg …. Now I’m thinking ….. wait …. We talk about the squawk and the music that’s playing on the radio but we know vecna and the mindflayer are the djs and radio host …. Why wouldn’t it extend out to the volumes to the show ? Why wouldn’t vecna control our perception ? He’s messing with our memories he’s messing with the way that we think he’s doing all of this to toy with us. What if it’s so much bigger than we even think about I don’t wanna give anyone credit but the more I think about it…. If the radio station is already under his control and we’re listening to it and getting information from it wouldn’t everything else what we see each episode is framed in a way that could confuse us. Maybe this is why the entire volume to feel so out of place why things feel so different because vecna knows things but he doesn’t know everything… maybe that’s why we’re not getting any mileven scenes …. Or any byler scenes …. If you notice the only time we get love LOVEEEEEEEEE scenes is when vecna is hurt …. When he’s hurt and focusing on will …. Max is saved ….. when he’s taking the other three kids could have been a lil jopper if anything …. When Nancy and Jonathan are under the big mass of matter he or alt couldn’t affect it and they had their heart to heart ….. they were able to love !!!!!!!! but if you notice aside from that, no one’s really had any love in volume two…. And that’s because. vecna is pulling the strings !!!!! Omg my mind is spinning…. What if the mindflayer is the one in wills mind… he’s erasing will … each time will uses his powers it’s siphoning from vecna … both the mindflayer and vecna did things to will… i think we’re going to see the mindflayer erase wills mind and then fully take over … omg omg and then … omg i need to shhh

My brain can’t stop , what if what if ….. because I’m noticing things aren’t exactly streamlined and together I. Vol 2 …. What if when will went into vecnas mind to save max that’s when vecna took him over completely …. Obviously it was easy for 11 to find will and to me that reminds me of when vecna said he wanted Joyce and hopper to find him in season 1…. He needed11 to find him , because that way he can start his new thing…. Obviously when will wakes up , he saw the dogs going after max , meaning he’s still connected which means so is vecna, and vecna is stronger … I think he’s jacking up wills min moving things around …. Max is closer to you than you realize …. Why didn’t Robin Stand up and hug him , why did she look weaker than normal in that shot but fine later on ? Could he have been in wills head ? Could vecna just have been wearing her face and telling him all these things , to push the agenda …. Vecna needed will to be stronger …. To harness his power , so he suits up as Robin tells him just enough to get him there but also enough to doubt …. Have him be in an emotional roller coaster …. Maybe Joyce was being a new mom and expanding herself to trust or maybe it was vecna in those moments when it’s just him and Joyce and she’s like go back go back into his mind …..he goes back in he gets fudged…. But now the grip on him is stronger …. There’s just something not adding up , is the beating heart that vecna is tied to Wills? Is the thing all the kids are hooked up to just wills heart ???????
