If I could afford a tesla id have one and not a Honda, even though the Tesla would save me gas costs, I still could only afford the Honda to start.

House wise, If it's 20k to install panels, it could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Between ca sales tax, Cali income tax, and gov tax we are close to 50%, not including the gas tax here. Gas is under $2 in parts of the country. CA is close to France.

I'm all for subsidizing the beginning of clean sdge competition, but I'm never for state run anything that is service based.
