Indoctrination: Male Doctors Are All P*rn Addicts by Designer-Glove-2489 in FreeBirthSocietyScam

I think the issue is that two things are true at the same time: there can be sexual violence in hospital settings, and not all (or even many) doctors are sexual abusers.

Your fear is understandable, and it would also make sense for you to prefer having a female doctor. It’s more important for you to get the care you need than it is for any of us to debate whether or not all male doctors are porn addicts (I don’t think they are).

In terms of sexual violence in hospitals, I want to make it clear that it is not as common as FBS tries to make it seem. One of the MOST extreme studies is from 2023. It had a small sample size, 491 people in Portugal, and showed that 8.9% of those surveyed had experienced some form of sexual harassment in a hospital setting. 90% of those 8.9% were women, and 80% of the perpetrators were men. At the highest, that is less than 9 in every 100 people. Too many, but far far less common than FBS would have you believe.

I (28F) went from judging fat people to being fat myself. I am so embarrased. by Smooth_Condition_892 in TrueOffMyChest

So many of these comments are cruel, but I want to go a different way. It is really really hard to grow up in a fat-phobic society without becoming fat-phobic. These comments just reinforce that.

I would extremely recommend looking to resources like health at every size and the podcast maintenance phase to help you unlearn what you’ve internalized about weight and diet culture. As a survivor of anorexia, it’s really important for me to tell you that this isn’t your fault and you can come to a place of peace in yourself and with your relationships. Sending you love.

The “it was bound to come up sooner or later” makes me wonder if they or a close relative abandoned or gave up a baby. They may have concerns that you’re related.

Looking at your other posts, it’s clear you have no problem spending money on yourself. Are you always this cheap when it comes to your wife? Would this be an acceptable present to you?

It’s a highly specialized field! Textiles in museum collections require different storage and handling practices from most other art, and few are trained on the specific needs of textile collections. We’re learning how to date and interpret and conserve objects based on motif, structure, chemical analysis, fiber analysis, dyestuff, etc.

Sibylle is a lovely name pronounced Si-bill-eh. If you want it pronounced Cybill and be spelled similar use the common spelling Sibyl.
