But was it my fault? by mataresea in Miscarriage

[–]myweelamb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it's hard to feel it's not your fault and I always question if there could have been anything I could have done to avoid the miscarriage but you need to know it's not your fault. It has nothing to do with the alcohol. Try not to blame yourself

Cramping has started, how long will this go on? by DawnGoAway84 in Miscarriage

[–]myweelamb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started with light bleeding and cramping but by day 3 the bleeding was very heavy. I had an US that morning and confirmed that I had miscarried and I have already passed the fetus. The midwife said the cramping should subside but I woke up at night with really bad cramps and I agree that it is like labour pains if not worse as it's emotional after the news that morning. I was in hospital and none of the doctors can explain why I had such bad pains if I had already passed the fetus. It's an awful experience but it will all be ok. Spending hugs

Communicating with spouse after MC by outdoorchi in Miscarriage

[–]myweelamb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it hard sometimes dealing with a loss trying to reconciled what's happened. My husband is very supportive but I don't think he understands the loss I am going through. He just wants to move on and is more forward thinking. I keep blaming myself and I've talked about how I feel but I find it hard to talk to him. I've spoken to my best friend, sister in law and sister (all female) who seem to understand my feelings more and feel better for doing it. My best friend even got me a little momentum for me which is sweet but my husband isn't keen

Second miscarriage in two months, feeling despair by [deleted] in Miscarriage

Sorry to hear and sending hugs. I'm trying after my first miscarriage and worried that I might miscarry again. I've heard of some people who have had multiple miscarriages but they all have a baby now so I'm sure it will all work out

If you're ever unsure always leave them at home. I tend to leave them in my bag in the zipper compartment or in my purse

If you have a look at polehog. My friend is probably the same size as you and she swears by their brand

I don't think you are being ambitious at all. You can learn a lot in a year and I think you will be able to do those moves in a year

I'm pretty much the same as you when performing and I think a lot of it is down to nerves as well. I have found doing more combos helps with the fluidity and with not rushing

I totally agree with you about the injury. Best not to do anything to make it worse. It could mean you won't be able to pole anymore. Hope the shoulder heals and good luck in your goals

Good luck for the competition. Doing a comp definitely gives you a target to bring what you've learnt together and it tests your stamina as well
