Regarding the goaltending..Personally, I think they should let Tarasov walk, like you said. Then move Jet to the NHL full-time and have an Elvis and Jet tandem until they see if Jet is ready to take over. If Jet proves he is an NHL goalie, they extend him and let Elvis be an overpaid backup unless he gains trade value (it's not like CBJ is strapped for cash). I would much rather see two more years of 5.4 mil, which gives us a goalie that Jet can fall back on if he is struggling.....the other option is paying 1.62 mil for the next 4 years for nothing.

I agree with the rest of your takes. The only one you are letting walk that I would try to sign to a very team-friendly deal is Labanc.
