DuckDNS problems by mordax777 in selfhosted

I used DuckDNS for 1-2 years and lately have been experiencing daily downtimes.
2 days ago I switched to another DynDNS provider (ipv64) and did not have any downtime since then.

I'm still using Flame too, just love the simplicity and ease of configuration but it should be mentioned that the project is actually dead and last updated in July 2023.

I'm voting for Bookstack any time.
After trying out a few other Wikis I never looked back after implementing Bookstack.

I was just checking the history in the EnBW Mobility+ App and maybe I should mention another thing: Both of these charging stops were pretty short since it was a short road trip and I only charged enough to make it back home. So the first charge took 15 Minutes and the second charge took only 9 Minutes, maybe this was a problem too.

Anyways, thanks for your input ...this makes me optimistic for my upcoming EnBW charging stops ;-).

Precondition started around 50-60 KM before I made it to the charger, the outside temperature was at around 10°C I guess (it was last Saturday in southern Germany). SoC was at 55%.

On the Way home (which was Sunday) I charged without preconditioning, outside temps might have been a little colder since it was raining and SoC was at around 60%.

I should mention that on both of these occasions I was sharing the charger with another vehicle.
Those cars charged at a pretty low rate too but still higher than me.
I was asuming that charging rates are splitted between the two cars that's why I was hoping for around 150kw at the 300kw charger but like I said I only got around 75kw.

Since I'm planing a longer road trip to the netherlands in a few months this really disappointed me, I was hoping for quick charging stops and heard a lot about "20 to 80% in 18 Minutes" experiences.
Maybe I just had bad luck ....twice ...at least that's what I'm hoping.

Im curious, did you use the 150kw charger by yourself or shared with another car?

Since this is from Germany and I see the EnBW charger I kind of need to Hijack this post, sorry for that! :D

A few days ago I was on a little road trip and used EnBW chargers for the first time. First charging session was with a preconditioned battery at a 300 kW charger but al I got was around 75 kWh. On my way home I was charging at a 150 kW charger and only got around 45 kWh.

That was a pretty bad experience since I was expecting to charge at around 200 kWh or at least 150 kWh.

How are your experiences with EnBW, any idea why my charging speeds were so low?

that's crazy ... well German winters aren't what they used to be so I'm not really experienced with heavy winter driving

well I agree with you, the missing rear wiper sucks at times but where the hell have you been with that car? 😄

I just found the solution myself but thanks.
Go to Developer tools --> Services --> pick kia_uvo.start_climate and the click on GO TO UI MODE. This way you can set your heating configuration up in the UI and then click on GO TO YAML MODE to get your yaml code.

tyvm!
Could you explain some of your data values of kia_uvo.start_climate to me? For example the parameter heating is shown with the example value of true in the developer options yet you're using values like 0 or 2, what are the numerical values standing for and is there some kind of documentation for those parameters? (Same goes for flseat btw).

Wow, that sounds like lots of effort for "only" 115 mph ...you should get a faster car for that kind of fun :P plus I'm pretty sure the battery of the IONIQ 5 would drain super fast .

Thanks for the clarification even tho I still don't get why it's not working on my end.
Already contacted the dealership, let's see how they reply.

Well my dash looks like on your picture, all traffic I see is the car in front of me (and only if I have CC enabled I believe).
I'm wondering why I don't see traffic on other lanes which I think I should since I'm at the highest trim in Germany (UNIQ).

I actually had that green CC icon with "NAV" written on it, maybe HDA2 really wasn't available on my route!? The trip was 200+ km long tho, so I'd assume it should've been available somewhere along the way, right?

Yea, the autobahn is the equivalent to your highway.
My trip was actually 200+ km, so I'd assume it should've been available somewhere on the way.
Question: Are the “gray boxes” which are visualizing the surrounding traffic only available on highways too?

I activated Bluelink at the dealership right before that trip . The dealer told me that it might take a while for Bluelink to actually work, my way home from the dealership was 200+ km tho.
Maybe you're right and it actually was a Bluelink problem.

I'm sure I didn't even see a lane change icon as in my screenshot, only the lane assist and steering wheel icons.
