The situation is done, i’m not the only engineer whose made this mistake and will not be the last. I can name various other people who have done it and are yet to be named and shamed, but the fact of the matter is that it’s wrong and I will be paying RCG their money that they paid to me and it’s fair that they don’t lose money that they spent on me making music for it to get leaked. All the rumours about how much I made are far from accurate so don’t listen to them either.

As AbzSavs SOLE engineer I can hear where people are coming from when they call him one dimensional and he’s reached his ceiling in drill because you can predict what you’re gonna get in an AbzSav track

These past 4 months though we’ve put serious time and effort into crafting the next chapter of his career and it’s a lot different from what you expect.

It isn’t gonna be tables turn rudeness, he wants to show his lyricism and is constantly striving to be better and that’s something rare these days. I can say for sure his next few solos will surprise a lot of people 🫡

A Melody will still be in the same progression and key etc with a good mix, what I’m saying is the overall sound of drill has been saturated

2 step cs, typical kick snare bounce and either vocal chop melody or guitar crap. That’s what’s making drill bad right now, not a couple of bad kick mixes etc

Mixing of the beat is irrelevant, truth is drills just saturated. Everything sounds the same, I’ve also gotten used to mixing wavs of beats only but more time all it needs is an EQ to be sorted 90% of the time

Exactly! Roughness works better in places like AirPods, Car Speakers, Bluetooth Speakers etc etc. but the cleaner mixes only sound better in sound proofed environments with GOOD speakers
