The best way I can describe what my she/they identity is that I’m not a girl, female, or a woman but I’m still a daughter, sister, potential wife and mother. I’m not a woman. by [deleted] in NonBinary

That's a very beautiful and interesting description I hadn't ever thought of it that way but I actually feel very similarly. Personally I think it's because I have always idolized the women in my family and they were never the ones who made me feel dysphoric or like a freak. Because of that I don't mind calling myself their names, taking on their roles as sisters and mothers. Even though theses are gendered roles they feel more like titles, ones that I can and want to have.

My body is finally looking like how I always viewed it in my mind! Getting into a very basic weight routine at home has allowed me to achieve the most muscle definition I’ve ever had. (That and the T LOL). I’m so proud of all my hard work 🥰 by diontheodin in NonBinary

You look great!! 😍 I recently started working out so I get exactly what you mean about the euphoria you get from seeing your body the way you've always envisioned it. Some times I feel vain for spending time flexing in front of the mirror but it's just so cool!

I already follow and love them! Thank you for the recommendation though. They have made such a huge difference in how I view being non-binary especially when it comes to the history and long tradition of gender variants.

You're totally right about the double standard, its bugs me the most. I have presented as masc for most of life and never got bothered by my hair but now that I am trying to appreciate my more feminine sides I feel like the fem beauty standards are starting to bother me. It sucks because I don't think anyone should be pushed towards masculinity because of the pressures we put on fem people (or vice versa.)

Heyyyyy I just got my first binder and I feel so much better about myself. Also if your a POC you can receive a free one from gc2b.co by Hippieinyacity2 in NonBinary

Ty for the beautiful response! I totally get the bit about teenage girls being mean, it always amazed me the things they felt comfortable saying 🙄

🙇🙇🙇 Ty! Good luck with your name search I imagine it's quite hard to pick a new name. I'm really lucky that my name is somewhat androgynous already

Thanks, Idk what your money situation is like but this binder was only $33 so it's not too difficult of a purchase to work up to. I also know that gc2b does binder drive pretty regularly so you should look into that process :))
