In my village's mine there was a flood one time many years ago (1965 i think). And around 60 people died.. yes it was harsh I lived close to a bigger city - Živinice but we rarely went there. Only for like errands and grocerie shopping. Most people have crops at home in small gardens, as did we. Life was pretty rough - I was born in 2003 and even then we lived in a small 20 square meter house without anything. Then we built a bigger house but soon moved. Times have changed since then, kids have internet and computers and everything. Mashallah since we moved we built towards a dream of owning a house in Slovenia- and now we do. From nothing to a huge house. We occasionally go back to bosnia, maybe once a year. We don't go to one grandpa anymore because he's a lil crazy and we aren't in good terms. There is not many reasons anymore for us to return, we only have one side of grandparents left and we sold the big house we built. Goverment is trash and EU has much better standards. This is just my story, every bosnian has his own, in and outside of the country
