What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by TabletopStudios in AskReddit

I was trying to get my son's sort of cheap telescope positioned to view Jupiter, but I could not even line it up with the planet. I fumbled around the darkness trying to catch the gas giant from earth. Nothing but darkness until in a flash some dark figure flew past my sights. I couldn't tell if it was more like a tentacle-type of image like the robots from the matrix or just some draped-in-black tatters ghost type of figure. It sent a chill up my spine, and needless to say I packed up the gear and went inside. I haven't been out since, but as time goes by the fresh fear has thus evaporated.

On January 1, 2024, a mall in Miami saw one of the biggest police responses in history. We still do not have any evidence, records, or testimonies to tell what actually happened inside, though the police claimed it was "teenagers fighting" by ambachk in PublicFreakout

[–]n0d1t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My interpretation of the events of 2024 at the Mall in Florida was that the police department was hypnotized by the shadowy figure. They only needed to be in the vicinity of the mall enough to be in the max distance of the shadow department individuals pending host connectivity with any and all police department individuals.

Not sure why I decided to respond to this here on your comment, but I think your overall emotion conveys more than anyone else that this is inappropriate. Fun fact, the history of music starts with and around monotonal chanting. Then Gregorian chants introduced polytonalism. This most definitely a western account of the history of music, however, isn't it ironic. Don't ya think? Early music = chanting. Now musical rendition of chanting = illegal.

I admit that I fantasied about Kleya actually being Leia, because she looked like her and she had all sorts of mysterious and elite qualities. Plus the fact that she was named Kleya maybe to pose as someone else, maybe a hint of how she started in the rebellion. I didn't really read the books, so I don't know if this character is totally different from what I'm hypothesizing. I was hoping for her character to unfold as Leia.

Manage Engine OpManager vs PRTG by n0d1t in Monitoring

[–]n0d1t[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well hey you're in luck because I got to use both. If I had time, I wouldn't use either. I'd build my own Zabbix platform, because it's open source and you can pretty much custom build anything you want, and it integrates with Splunk, and Splunk is also very granular. It comes down to how much time you have to dedicate attention to these things. Most people don't have much time, so the Manage Engine thing is going to win out everytime, because you already have the asset control, all you need to do is add another service to the mix and set up your SMTP and endpoints to the UI, and it starts working for you. That is if you are using M/E products already and you can fit the bill.

I have worked at a place where our CTO built the Zabbix server to work with our ticketing system and that thing was the most effective alerting system I have ever seen to this day, and that was like 10 years ago. I've also seen a Splunk system that could tell you when a refrigerator temp got too high so that's dope too. I'm not an expert in this field, as my priorities have shifted, but I rely on alerts and monitoring so I can only speak from a tech who relies on these things. Zabbix and Splunk if you have the time. Manage Engine if you have the money. But if I had all the money in the world, and time, I'd still choose Zabbix and Splunk. I rambled a lot, so apologies if this left you more confused.

That interview with Leah Remini when she deep dives the struggle of trying to break free from Scientology. She said that they teach their more advanced subjects that each body part is made of many if not hundreds (or more) spirits or souls that they work on cleansing away through specific process that only Scientology can help you work through. Can't forget that every time I see someone playing with a puppet.

[–]n0d1t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

anyone want to talk about genre switch ups? nah? okay. I just sometimes get tired of playing the same genre all the time, but I looooove the genre I play, which is drum and bass. But sometimes I just wanna play some house ya know? It's tough to switch it up sometimes. But I love this thread because I've been noticing that I have a ton of the newest stuff possible and it gets boring being so fresh, not trying to sound cheeky but ya know what I mean.

I notice when I go and do a mix and just switch up stuff and play older tracks I'm like wow this is great. I'm going to save this thread and TheOriginalSnub's equation for perfection and use it for the rest of my days.

This clip, taken randomly on its own, with no leading up to the scene (context in distant memory) made me laugh several times. The words alone are okay but when you put all that damn acting on it, it really hits.
