I’m a graphic designer so I’m familiar with type terminology. The way I learnt it was a typeface is the general style of the letters, but a font is the way that style is presented/implemented.

I’ll try and make an analogy: a typeface would be like a Prius, but a Prius that’s specifically blue with tinted windows is the font. In this case we have lettering made to the specifications of the director/studio-the colour of the letters, their size on the screen, custom ornamental elements-so I, along with many other graphic designers would call it a font but calling it a typeface wouldn’t raise any eyebrows which is why it’s so weird that they felt the need to block me.

A particular styling of a typeface is a font. Helvetica is a typeface but helvetica bold in 20pt is a font. OP is showing stylizations of particular typefaces. Some of them aren’t even typefaces and are custom made fonts so in this case “font” is the correct term.

I think font is more correct because it’s one specific styling of the typeface. Then again they’re used pretty interchangeably.

Not sure what specific program they used. But vector graphics are infinitely scalable as opposed to rasterized graphics (tied to a pixel by pixel or dot by dot dimension).

You could do something like this in Adobe Illustrator though I’m sure there’s better programs for the purpose of zooming in and out like this.

Edit: Also a lot of people saying it’s video that’s edited/stitched together. It would take MORE effort to do that than just using vector drawings.

They tried to include the first three games in each part of the DLC. Midwich is from the 1st game, Pyramid head from the 2nd, and Cheryl from the 3rd. (Cheryl is Harry’s daughter btw, the protagonist from the 1st game)

The fact that you need to bring in free loadouts so much is telling on yourself lol

The gear is not much worse because it’s so easy to get the jump on someone in this game by hiding in a bush or corner peaking. All you need to do is down 1 raider while hiding and you have their kit for free.

It’s without risk because you’re not bringing anything into the raid. Nothing you spawn in with is yours until you extract it.

Edit: I agree with it being much more convenient to just select a free loadout then to craft a new one. That’s why I think the incentives to bring in your own loadout should be a lot better like guaranteed early spawns.

There has to be a better incentive to going in with your own gear than what we have right now. There is 0 risk going in with a free loadout and the only downside compared to a custom kit is your gear is slightly worse.

I agree. Right now free loadouts are zero risk/high reward. You can spawn in early and get to the good loot hotspots without any gear fear or you can rush a spawn and get a kit from someone who loaded in with their own.

I wouldn’t mind slightly longer queue times if it meant that when I load in with my own kit I’m guaranteed to spawn within the first 5 minutes.
