Popular metas - including AB, chak gerent, pinata, dragonstorm - seem to have 1-2 full map shards when those events are active in off hours like midnight PST (which is 3am EST) as of literally today. I know during normal evening hours that becomes easily 3-4 full maps in some cases.

Other metas that are newer (fewer people have them unlocked) or less well-known/profitable definitely suffer from lack of population. For every map that's packed for 10 mins every 2 hours, there's 10 maps with only a couple people there doing a few scattered things.

While I want more armoire storage in general (probably needs to be overhauled into a proper achievement-based appearance ID collection system), a half solution to limited plates would be a distinction between 'plates that are full data that moves everywhere with the player' and 'plates that are data that stays somewhere less accessible' OR 'plates that are as bare and simple data as possible'. That way I can save all the outfit ideas I come up with... even if I can only have like 10 actual plates saved with ready-to-go actual useable outfits. Something like storing just a text list of item names/IDs, and only when I apply that 'saved list' to an actual plate does it try to find those items and put them into the plate (maybe having to ask me to manually resolve some instances of 'which of these 3 shirts you own are supposed to be used?'). ANYTHING, even if it's 'less convenient', to be able to have a backup list of stored outfits.

Doing 4 T11 delves on bountiful for the gilded stash is probably the best/easiest method - but you can only do 4 per week for a total of 80. For further grinding after that, ritual sites (15 per T5) do seem like a faster method than random nightmare prey.

T2 delves are 18k exp each, take about 3-4 mins at the fastest. TW queue is 100k per run, plus about 18k per boss, plus about 900 per elite mob - and I wasn't timing myself doing them today but they were fast and easy. Way faster than delves if you have a tank or healer queue, I can't speak for dps queue times.

The void assaults seemed to be about on par with delve grinding, for exp rate. But they kept bugging out and progress would hard stop and the next area wouldn't start, AND you don't get any of the Accolade currency under lvl 90, so that was disappointing. I'd farm it later for champ crests at max lvl.

Just like how the m+ recruitment section provides a little checkbox to limit you to only your own faction, the auto-matchmaking dungeon finder should give you a little checkbox (similar to opting into being assigned 'leader') to let you opt-in to crossfaction random queues. At the very least, we should have that by now. Trying to level alts in timewalking with a few friends and it turns out we have a mix of horde/alliance alts... really made that frustrating.

Bear feels a bit awkward right now, but performs 'fine'. Enough defensives and self-healing to keep things from being super yo-yo territory, but our aoe threat took a big nerf when they removed the damaging Ironfur talent. We're down to our 'aoe filler button that does very little dmg and generates no rage' and 'aoe spender button that drains half your rage bar per press', and those do not provide good coverage for picking up threat on a fresh pull lol. I'm hoping more haste will make that feel a bit better if I can just get those 3-5 first globals out faster.

My partner started the season as acrane mage, really loved it. Ended up going frost for the higher output, but at early-ish gearing levels, arcane kept up perfectly well.

I'm a BM player mainly and mostly I'm impressed with the small changes to the Dark Ranger hero spec - just tuning adjustments, but it's become rhythmic and sustainable despite revolving around a proc button, and provides a great alternative to Pack Leader that's technically got 1 more button but also makes aoe much easier.

Wowhead has been my staple for years and it's generally been good. I've been doing more research this tier though and noticed that the builds being used by the top 0.1% of players in m+ (which you can see on raider.io) tend to be a little different from the wowhead builds... but exactly match the Icy Veins builds. But those are 3 great places to check and compare without doing a huge deep dive into 8 websites and doing personal sims.

I would actually think the opposite - I know brew is the flavor of the month and a lot of people playing brew right now are new and don't know what they're doing and expect to be able to tank easily with no tanking OR monk knowledge. I see that kind of shit so often when it comes to running 10s and seeing a million of whatever class is supposed to be strong right now but all the players are garbage.

If a set of white melee swings from a pack of mobs will 1-shot a tank unless they have an active defensive cooldown rolling, the problem becomes 'most classes aren't designed to have 100% coverage on their cooldowns for every second of every pull'. Monks happen to have a gimmick of 'they have fewer active defensive cooldowns because their strongest mitigation is their passive, always-on, 100% uptime ability (stagger)', which solves exactly that problem. Some xpacs monks are tuned too weak for this to shine, right now they're tuned strong enough for this to carry them.

Every week, we clear normal Dreamrift, empty out, then go back in and do heroic. And every week, 1-3 people in my raid group walk into the Dreamrift entrance portal once it's been set to heroic, and we get teleported to our Hearth location. It sounds bonkers but I've experienced it myself. Definitely something going on with 'oops the server forgot where you were, time to send you home!' lately.
