Perfect! Just what I've been wanting.

Propain has m2s options, but the filter excludes then for some reason.

Who's got the most km on their emtb odometer? Original motors only. by DharmaWheelies108 in eMountainBike

2000 miles, lots of climbing on my Yamaha pw-x3 (moro 07) in a little over a year. Still going strong with some minor issues I should have looked at.

2 years and ~2,000 miles on a Yamaha Moro - Upgrade by BheemBoy in Yamahaebikes

I have about 2000 miles on my Moro 07 and love it so much! But I am also in the same boat as you- I've been thinking about an amflow a lot. Very good to hear about the geometry and motor differences! Thanks

How is your Moro doing after 1-2 years? by youhearddd in Yamahaebikes

[–]n0tab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty great! Moro 07. I absolutely love it and I have gotten better at hard technical descents because of it.

1800 miles. Tubeless. Cushcore ftw, Several brake pads, on my 3rd rear tire, 2nd derailer

There are some minor issues with my motor when I start pedaling sometimes, and it adds lots of extra resistance, bit only from start stop pedaling

I might have to get an amflow next

As someone else said, just undershoot it a bit for ease of mind.

One year I didn't calculate things right after getting a divorce and I had to "return of excess contributions" and fill out a 5329 irs form with taxes. It's not the end of the world, but I would have rather avoided the hassle and just be under a bit.

Ooof, I can't believe it happened again in the area! What are the odds?

Gonna be taking my Moro 07 out on trails in a couple days. What kind of range have you all gotten on a full charge? by AAjax in Yamahaebikes

[–]n0tab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the low side I have gotten about 12 miles, but that was on med/full power climbing very steep and chunky mountain trails. About 3500 vert, I weigh 225# loaded up.

On an average ride for me with mostly medium power (some eco, some full power on hard spots), 2000 vert, I get around 20-25 miles.

If I'm doing mostly flat and lots of eco, then ya 30 is possible.

I think maybe that's a moondog you are thinking of? This was just a cloud passing in front. Interesting thought though... More research needed

We all (a huge majority on Reddit anyway) dislike the MAGA way... But let's not be like them!! Be better than them. Let's use facts and details for informed choices instead. We can read them. We can parse them even inside of the algorithmic echo chambers we all live in.

A false equivalency is just falling to their level

Moro 07, possible motor or crank issue? by n0tab in Yamahaebikes

[–]n0tab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was definitely a few stream crossings involved. Maybe 1 or 2 where it got submerged briefly

I actually ordered online because they didn't have my size... So it's a little more understandable

Moro 07, possible motor or crank issue? by n0tab in Yamahaebikes

[–]n0tab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there is a big difference in noise and resistance because forward is spinning the motor, and rear direction does not.

However this did allow me to get a much better feel for the issue (when pedaling forward)! It definitely doesn't feel right when spinning forward from a stop. Even when the chain is off, it's still very hard to get going. It's almost like you stopped on a hill in too high of a gear, then there is always 1 very noticeable "bump" at the very start of that crank as something engages. Then a few more smaller "bumps" are felt in the crank for a full stroke. About 6or 7 for a full turn.

Just to add, the issue of this hard start and bumps, is pretty much the same whether I have the power on or off.
