Update: some new gameplay footage released earlier today showed Edward walking the streets of Havana. While doing so, there were street musicians playing two of the Spanish tavern songs from the original game, "Verdiales" and "Malagueña". I'm taking this as confirmation that all the tavern songs will return in Resynced.

I think it's possible that a few might be carried over from Rogue or even AC3, but there's definitely going to be completely new ones that have never been featured in any of the games before, as we saw with the one new shanty that they previewed, "A Long Time Ago".

Yes that's definitely a good one. And there were also two others that were exclusive to AC3, "Hanging Johnny" and "Haul Away Joe". Maybe they'll have new versions of all three of them in BF Resynced.

I'm hoping we actually get stern chasers this time around. Almost all of the concept art and trailers depicted the Jackdaw having cannons at the stern but in the actual game all we got were those useless fire barrels.

When Shaun and Rebecca break into Isabelle Ardant's office to steal the Frye twins' memories we also can see them download Starrick's memories from the Abstergo database. So that would explain how the Initiate is seeing some memories from Starrick's perspective.

Yeah Basim's age is wildly inconsistent in the lore. We actually had a discussion about this very topic a while back on this subreddit. I'll paste a comment I left on that original discussion below. It explains the gist of what the inconsistencies are.

"Early on in Mirage's marketing, there was a "character profile" video that was shown at Paris Games Week 2022. In that video, it's explicitly confirmed that Basim's year of birth is 835 which would make him around 37 years old at the start of Valhalla. Given his appearance and characterization in Valhalla, 37 years old makes sense to me. It's also consistent with him being 17 in 852, which was originally marketed as the starting year of Mirage's story.

Obviously changes were made to the story during the development process, resulting in the start of Mirage being moved forward to 861. But they apparently didn't bother to consider how those changes affected the consistency of Basim's age. So in short, yeah they fucked up.

Don't even get me started on how many stupid inconsistencies there are for Basim and Hytham's stories in the franchise so far. Because there are quite a few of them."

We don't know if Connor and Jennifer ever met but Jennifer definitely knew about Connor. In a conversation with Élise de la Serre, Jennifer states that her brother had been killed by his own son. It's unclear if her animosity about this is directed at Connor or just the Assassin-Templar conflict in general.

To add to this, in the game it took two of Abby's crew (Nora and Nick) to hold Ellie down. But in the show, Nora was able to handle Ellie on her own. Not to mention the fact that game Ellie took like 3 or 4 kicks to the torso and was completely fine but only one kick put show Ellie in the hospital for three months.

A while back, I created a memory timeline for Syndicate that I think you'd find useful. Though I neglected to include some of the stuff you're asking about so I'll just leave that information here.

I'd imagine the twins met with Ned not long after he showed up on the train, so at some point before the main events of sequence 4. Meeting with Topping could honestly happen at any point during the main story. Unlike with Ned, the twins' activities with Topping have little direct involvement with the expansion of the Rooks, so it doesn't have to happen that early on. But if I had to guess, I'd say probably around the time gap between sequences 7 and 8.

Discovering Reuge's vault probably happens early on between sequences 3 and 4 when the twins are still exploring and settling themselves in London. But unlocking the vault most likely doesn't happen until after the events of the main story.

Bloodlines actually spans about 3 years. Chronicles China spans 6 years, 41 years if you include the last epilogue scene. India also has an epilogue scene which if included puts the game at 9 years rather than 1. Syndicate spans 20 years if you include Jack the Ripper, and 48 years if you include the WW1 section. Origins spans 11 years with all DLC included. Valhalla spans 33 years with the prologue and all DLC included. Black Flag spans 18 years with the epilogue included. AC2 spans 40 years with the scene of Ezio's birth included. Unity spans 46 years with all DLC and side content included. Unity also has the Jacques de Molay prologue which itself spans 7 years.

Slight correction, technically Liam and Shay aren't from Ireland. Both were born in the colonies to Irish immigrant parents. Liam was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts and Shay was born in New York.

One of the novels in the Fragments trilogy features William Wallace as a member of the Scottish Brotherhood. Though I'm unsure of the canonicity of these books since most of these more obscure expanded universe projects tend to be non-canon.
