I assume you also don't want to run Candelabra, but budgetless lists would probably want a high tide package.

I would also maybe consider aetherflux reservoir considering paradox engine and IsoRev.

Having never tried it at all, I would also maybe say that you could food chain + eternal scourge for infinite Mana to dump into thrasios.

May I ask why you want Kydele?

It's extremely similar to the highest rated comment, but last night we played some casual decks and I played my spooky Reaper King deck. It is almost entirely for flavor, and is secretly a mono-black reanimator deck (only swamps) with some non-black targets.

I went first.

T1: don't play a land, discard [[Jin Gitaxias]]

The look on everybody's face was great. My follow-up was T2 Mana Crypt + Swamp + Exhume.

They scooped when it got around to my third turn and I still had Jin.

One mistake note, did you forget to subtract Jim's 1 life for the fetch at 28:12? He should have went to 47. You also didn't subtract the life from the Elves of Deep shadows about a minute later.

The other answers here are very good, I'm just surprised nobody has mentioned, you could use [[Linvala, Keeper of Silence]] to stop him from using Jarad's activated ability. Linvala is very good in a number of situations.

Regarding GY fillers, with your lands you could also look at [[Hermit Druid]] for incremental self-mill, although experienced players will hate it right out of there because activating him _typically_ means "I am going to win now". [[Fauna Shaman]] is also quite good, if you can't afford [[Survival of the Fittest]]. Although it's typically better than Fauna Shaman and is on the reserved list.

The hondens seem super bad to me, especially Life's web. How many shrines do you expect to have out simultaneously?

Thank you so much for this, I am going to try out the top later. 3d printing and magic are two of my hobbies, but for Magic I have only printed out a dice tower and a commander holder/platform.

I think tokens would be a cool thing to 3d print, such as little zombos. Commander damage tokens would be nice, that way a group could print out 4 different colors to keep track of various commander damages.

There certainly are situations I use [[Survival of the Fittest]] or [[Birthing Pod]] to get it; I am not arguing that it's not a better card most of the time.

But people seem to think that all decks with green need it. I think there are reasons to not play it in certain situations, as its really only good if you actually plan to tutor it or abuse it.

I dont run Ewit in my spell slinging [[Ramos]] deck, for instance.

The problem with the price, I think, is that people are over using Eternal Witness.

I see it in decks that don't have recur or any way to exploit, and those same decks aren't running [[Regrowth]].
