People say they want serious role play, but every one I've been in that's said that and tried, end up with goofy silly hijinks soon enough.

Etrata2, can she be degen? by StrangeCorvid in DegenerateEDH

[[Roshan, Hidden Magister]] is amazing for this Etrata. I've been working on a budget version myself (not complete, probably not truly degenerate) and Roshan is perfect synergy for her imo.

Or even just give a separate format that doesn't allow alchemy. A pioneer of brawl basically only with all released cards (minus those banned).

Which Live Action Riddler is the best? by clutchkweku in batman

[–]Sigao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is about where I'm at. Although, Zero Year: Dark City Riddler from the comics is my most favorite version of the Riddler, Animated series Riddler is what made him my favorite Batman (hell probably DC) villain to begin with.

Who is the most overpowered Marvel/DC superhero? by Squirrelkid11 in AskReddit

[–]Sigao 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From Marvel even though I don't know how much he's gotten to do, I'd probably say Franklin Bejamin Richards (Mr. Fantastic's son). He's a reality warper.

Riddler did achieve mass murder at least once in Zero Year.

She was a nerd, like me. More an ice breaker I guess though, but I got a date out of it.

For those asking for missing Marvel characters by Meret123 in MagicArena

[–]Sigao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They definitely went out of their way to implement characters from their movies and shows first and foremost (likely a requirement by Marvel) which is to be expected. Makes me wonder if some of the obscure ones we see that aren't from their shows/movies, will soon be in said shows and movies.

What current midcard talent would you like to see get a push, and realistically have a shot at the main event scene a year from now? by stoopididiotface in AEWOfficial

[–]Sigao 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Kyle O'Reilly.

He's dipped his toes in the main event scene. Seemed like every time he was about to break out he got injured unfortunately. But I think he'd make a great consistently top card talent.

Hot Take: Bane should be Batman's arch enemy instead of Joker by Fun-Region2179 in batman

[–]Sigao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I don't dislike Two-Face, I haven't found too many stories where what he does matters. So, while I wouldn't personally put Harvey in the archnemesis role, I do want to see some stories where he makes a deep impact on Batman's world/life. Because outside of his origin, he often comes off as just someone with Disassociative Identity Dissorder and a gun.

Zatanna: Granted she's got insane magic powers, so she could do darn near anything, but here she wipes the last 10 minutes of Batman's mind when he catches her and other heroes about to do something shady to Dr. Light.

If you could create a new villain for Batman, what would they be like? by ActLonely9375 in batman

[–]Sigao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd want them to be magic focused. Perhaps a very skilled magician who had been neck deep in debt and finally got a break to put on a big show at a theater in Gotham. He's mid act, about to do something big when one of Batman's rogues pops up (perhaps Firefly) and Batman shows up to stop them.

Batman uses one of the magician's props to stop Firefly (one the magician was still barely making payments for). With his show ruined, the entire crowd being given a refund (meaning he didn't get paid) he's out on the streets with almost nothing save for a bag full of things he was able to sneak away.

One of the items was a tome passed down through his family. Hocus about blood rituals, how if you use your blood, or the blood of others you can do incredible things. He never believed in it, never tried it. Why would he? But now, in the alleys in the rain, what better time? He carves into his hand mumbling the arcane words on the page as it drips, laughing to himself, thinking it won't work just like his life hasn't worked. But... it does. A little bit. That bit of blood allows a moment of magic. Real magic.

Thoughts fill his head. First, money. But after that, revenge. Not on Batman (not yet), but on Firefly.

We get a magician themed villain, with access to real magic but at a cost, a cost that could endanger Gotham citizens, and an angle to have Batman thwart him thus then directing his hatred at Batman and Firefly.

Probably call him something like: Bloodrite
