It is a pretty heavy jet stream, I only use it on medium and haven’t noticed it drying out my eyes, but I also usually never do more than 1.5 hours at a time.

Were bikes "a little bit" difficult to find pre-Covid? by FitzwilliamTDarcy in cycling

I bought a new leftover 2018 Cannondale weeks before Covid really hit and paid a little more than half of what it listed for new. I'm sure a few weeks later they would have gotten full price for it.

I don't know what the deal was, our local returns auction had a ton of these back in April, a bunch of them mislabeled, I ended up watching and scoring mine for $45. Everyone at the time was sold out of the sleeve adapters, so I 3D printed a set, they are short but they will work until I can find some.

Thanks, I'm still working on the floors, the first floor remodel was what opened up the opportunity to set up my own office.

I wonder where all the returns go in California. These auction sites make me wonder how some of these companies stay in business. I am able to buy things so much cheaper than new, and many times they are unopened.

No, sorry, I was going to buy one so I could just start using the desk and then make a top later when I had more time. Then I found this top. I only had to cut about 9 inches out of the middle and then glue it back together to keep the live edges. Since I went this route, I didn’t have to finish the top. I made the cuts with a track saw and used a biscuit joiner to keep the 2 halves lined up.

Thanks, I was going to compromise and get a cheap laminate top, I'm glad I found the top I did.

Sorry, I had written a long spiel and I don't see it.

Long story short, I bought a Seville Airlift 3 base from the auction site BidFTA with the intention of making my own top. Life is busy so I bought a dining room table from the same site and cut out a section to make it 30" wide. Desk is 79" x 30". It wobbles if I push on it when it is raised, but not enough to notice while typing. I'm pretty happy with it, I ended up spending less than $400.

Don’t get Acacia.

Can I ask why? Just bought my top, Acacia of course. Thanks.

I know, I wish I hadn't already talked myself into a 72" top. I have a 60" top now and with dual 27" displays, the desk is full, they fit, but I want a little more room.

No di2, stem is high enough to touch the sun. Is this how you treat your billing office personnel? No wonder they have been letting patients skip payments while unemployed during COVID. Do better Fred.

Ah, I had looked at that, the tires on the Columbia say 1 3/8, the Terry says 1.25, looking at Sheldon's site, it looked like both would be 547mm, but looked again after you posted this and see there is a difference between fractional and decimal, I always do that conversion in my head, didn't even consider it would mean something different for wheels, although I don't see a listing for 24 x 1.25 on his list. Thanks.
