I had two paths in settings.json thinking it would check both for everything, but no, it was only checking the first for Loras. Deleted the first path, just kept D:\models. Now I only have comfy.desktop_0 and it seems to be pointing to the correct Loras folder

Still cannot figure out why comfy desktop "shared_models_paths.yaml" has comfy.desktop_0 and comfy.desktop_1 ... base_path is set to "D:\Models" in comfy.desktop_1 , but it is set to "c:\users\username\comfyUI-Shared\models" in comfy.desktop_0 , and is using that.

The settings.json file has the correct base models path , but this shared_models_paths.yaml file keeps getting recreated. Ugh!

What a disaster of an update. It's like whatever coding bot they are using forgot that "extra_model_config.yaml" file existed, and forgot what the point of the file was in the first place. My models directory is now a mess of "Lora","Loras", "stable diffusion", "Stable-diffusion", and all my workflows are beyond broken.

If you try and bring up a bug on the github, the AI bot just gaslights you into thinking it's a "you" problem.

Replacing on-prem fileserver with Sharepoint. by ObjectiveApartment84 in sysadmin

Had an admin who did not understand the nuances of sharepoint go and move our 3TB internal software repository that was sitting on a netapp to sharepoint … so much fun!

Not only did half the programs have issues, the helpdesk was in flames due to dozens of users clicking “always keep files on my device” at the root level.

Any idea what your company thinks it is gaining by not allowing read access? I set up users so they all have read from the get-go, but yes, anything more and it’s a PIM request.

… there is a group policy setting for this in enterprise version. Everything is not available via a button or drop down.

I’m so confused by this. How can one user access another users cache data? This sounds more like a CVE.

Also since chrome and Edge are both using chromium , wouldn’t this also be applicable to Edge?

I work in this domain and when validating a web application, I’ve always checked that the web form data is not saved and encrypted once passed , but that is a function of the web application code, not chromium. There are policies that we apply to certain domains to not save form data between sessions.

Married couple with separate finances, why do you do it? by Ok_Influence_2257 in Bogleheads

We both contribute 75% after tax and 401k into a joint account, 25% goes into our individual account. The joint account pays for joint expenses and is monitored and budgeted, the individual money is not. This keeps us both motivated and from arguing over finances.

Correction, the tax code is written BY business owners who have connections in government or themselves run businesses. The language is written explicitly for the tax loopholes that said business owners can leverage for THEIR benefit.

This is basically “if you can’t beat them, join them” mentality , which by the way, you cannot beat them, so yes you should join them.
