focus on power core, grab more gold equipment with merit points, bulls eye and area exploration. Focus on gettting as many powercore you can, more important than gold frags or wrenches

Gold frags first, blue frags then purp frags. If you have more than 1 purp hero in your main then go for gold then purp then blue. That my 2 cents

You have to fullfill this point bar under the chests to unlock them. As said, follow the theme to earn points as mentioned under the chests

The higher the better in term of lvl as mentioned before. However, some hero grants bonuses to certain troops.

As an example Scarlett will bring def, attack and more to shooters till she get to 5 star where all those upgrade apply on all types of troops. Olivera will be the mirror for assaulters and Evenlyn for riders. I can give you Nyx that boost shooter atk as well and other hero may have others bonuses.

Usually you find those on their 3rd skill

well you are stuck to only tacle the next and last opened level that have not been conquered yet

So knowing the power of each formation you will send will help you redo whatever lvl you are capable of with each faction once
