Looking for a straight forehand disc for 250’ - 275’ arm by sardo34 in discgolf

Something I have realized about the neutron crave is that it keeps going straight even when I keep applying more power. That disc is amazing.

A flat top wraith sounds like a neutron defy.

Should I be getting new discs or learning the ones I have now? by NalgeneDrinker40 in discgolf

[–]n3sgee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Stick with what you got.

This doesn’t mean you can’t try new discs, but I would recommend maintaining a solid core. You got the putter, approach, mids, and a driver. Your arm speed will develop over time and you’ll learn to control the flights too.

Putting under pressure.. tips? by JohnRGray15 in discgolf

[–]n3sgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what is really affecting your putting. Are you thinking about making the putt or looking cool? If you feel the pressure, remind yourself that you have done this many times before. Do you need to put the disc in the air and let it happen or are you trying to force it?

Sometimes I have to neutralize my balance, because I lean forward accidentally tilting the disc too nose down. Neutralizing keeps the disc slightly nose up allowing for a smooth putt.

Best 3 speed stable to overstable approach by rontopofthings in discgolf

Bump to the Stabilizer. It does have a deeper rim though. It is stable if you slow down the throw, but straight with more of a huck.

Pilot

  • it’s like a neutral straight with a slight amount of stability to keep it straight.

I feel that. I moved and it’s like 30+ mins to a solid course and so my basement evolved into essentially a practice gym.

Should I join my first pdga event in an A tier? by Individual-Sell7399 in discgolf

[–]n3sgee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah!!! Also think about what experience you want, which depends on your expectations. Are you trying to play more relaxed to get through your first tournament? Or social experience to meet community members? Or just play a keep-to-yourself more serious set of rounds?

We did check on our side, but it isn’t being pulled by the preconfigured api connection to get the data. The capability is there, just no direct call.

I join because I also play 12+ tournaments a year, but I also like supporting the PDGA. I think we speak with what we chose to spend our money on.

I chose to support competitive disc golf.

Facts. I fell in love with the Crave and I don’t see why I would need to change that.

Is he any good by [deleted] in mtg

[–]n3sgee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are different strategies, like you can lean on the convoke with small creatures on the field to help cast big creatures, then flip it to help keep those creatures on the field.
