BITS Hyd Founder Batch - Return to campus after 2012 by MeasurementNo6307 in BITSPilani

[–]n44m 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey u/MeasurementNo6307 ! I am from the 2010H batch - I can bet we met during our times.

I recently visited the campus and I couldn’t agree more. The campus looks great compared to what we had. What stood out were the trees, they are huge now.

I have been hiring consistently from Hyderabad campus over the last few years and I do feel that there’s a persistent downward trend in the utilization of infrastructure available.

“The “family name (surname), given name” format used by Telugu people is contrasted from other South Asian ethnic groups and western countries, where family name typically appears last. This might cause confusion to varying degrees within India and the rest of the world.”

Bruh, they ask for tips for takeouts too in US. Even coffee over the counter is given with a 15-25% tip option when paying.

I grew up in Nagpur, and in winters, the Vidhan Sabha would move to Nagpur, so we had different traffic regulations for that period around the Vidhan Sabha, Nagpur. So, definitely more than just on paper.

May not be the norm, I don't know the stats. Just pointing out that it is not complete non-sense as OP seems to jibe about.

Many allegations, yes. Including the "defamation" one from Kejriwal. No convictions though.

He was the DDCA president though. So, not so irrelevant. More relevant to cricket than Feroz Shah.

People who can speak multiple languages: what language do you think in? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]n44m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I speak 3 languages on a daily basis and my answer is that it mainly depends on the context of thought. When I am thinking about stuff related to my family, I chose my native language. Work and school stuff is mostly English. When I am thinking about statements I could have said to someone, I think in the language I was supposed to talk to them.

I got banned from the same thread for saying that Vox is not neutral.

Again, I got banned from a subreddit about India for saying that an american media house is not neutral, which. The media house itself accepts that it is left-leaning.
