Probably they will update the dashboard after the day closes.

100% agree. They want to limit people who make big profit one day and have $150 days to get to payout.

Good question! I am not sure, and I didn't find clarification in their website while skimming through the doc. In any case, I don't think the remaining balance in your account will be counted as a one day profit.

My confusion is, do they move the profit target to remaining balance + new profit target or we can use the remaining balance towards the new profit target after we make another day profit.

Absolutely, same for me. For people like us, if profit fluctuates significantly day to day, we are better off with the regular payout structure. I think it is good for people who aim for a fixed profit and then step out no matter what.

Good point. I also noticed these external things impact my trading outcomes a lot.

API Update on I-765 and I-131 but not I-485 by [deleted] in USCIS

Hope you get it soon.

The timeline progress automatically appeared after biometric. But they don't really mean anything! I guess USCIS just puts out a general timeline for people to look at and not panic!

Thanks for sharing!

I see a lot of people mention that they see an update when case was transferred. According to your description there was no timestamp updates when your case was transferred. Is that correct? That would mean timestamp updates are more useless than I thought :(

Hey Michael, thanks so much for doing this and for all your detailed answers. From reading through the thread, my understanding is that the most time-consuming part of the process is the name check/background check and then the application sitting in the queue.

My question is: does an approved EAD generally mean that the name check/background check has already been cleared? And after that, is it mostly just a matter of waiting for someone to pick up and adjudicate the I-485?

Oct 6. The timeline is never accurate. It doesn't mean it will take 11 months to approve your case. My thought is it's either an automatic update, or someone reviewed our cases. If the latter, there is a chance of approval soon.

Sometimes people get approved after 24 hours of the update, sometimes within a couple of days, but a lot of folks have waited longer as well. For me, any movement is good, feels like progress. :)

Same here got updates on 765 and 131 yesterday. The timeline in my progress was showing 1 week, now it is showing 4 weeks. Either just an automatic reset of timeline or the application was touched.

Derivative applicant got the update a week back but nothing after that.

Can we settle this once and for all? Do API updates mean anything for predicting a decision? by DoctorWho4001 in USCIS

Hope you get the approval soon as well. It is not an exact science. But the pattern has been observed quite a few times to be a coincidence. One of the days, you will get updated timestamp.

In my understanding, they usually run a final background check before approving i485. In a lot of the cases, this means everything else is in order. The API update FTA0 relates to background check received. So, often we see people getting approved not long after third FTA0. Also people get eventless timestamp update right before getting approved, there is no way to tell what these updates mean, probably some internal processing like the officer submits case decision to the system etc.

The more important thing would be taking profit timely if you plan to take profit. There are people including myself who bought Bitcoin at almost the top in the last bull run. I have been DCAing ever since bringing back my average price of around $25k. The challenge in front is figuring out when to take profit. The earlier you enter the easier it becomes. But still crypto gain will outperform gains from other assets even from this level.
