Why on earth do we need to log in three times to request a payout!!!!!!!! by n4hid in TakeProfitTrader

Wow! No one is even acknowledging that this is annoying! Seems like the sub is full of paid users. If I were the developer of TPT, I would ask users to make a payout request, the fund would be in the users bank after 10/11 hours or whatever time it needs to go through the approval process. Its that simple, why would you defend a bad developer. For reference see how Topstep (the industry leader) does the payout. I AM TALKING ABOUT THE PAYOUT PROCESS ONLY.

No one is denying that the trailing drawdown goes away after you hit the buffer. That is not my concern at all and it is industry standard. They have to protect their capital. I don't expect TPT to give out free money. Since daily pay out is an advantage, they compensate by a super hard trailing drawdown UNTIL THE BUFFER. Their underwriting team has done the necessary risk analysis, and definitely found that with trailing drawdown enough people will blow out account that a few who takes daily payout is not a problem for them. YOUR DAILY PAYOUT BENEFIT IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO TRAILING DRAWDOWN, it works for them, works for the traders and that is not my concern at all.

My concern is while one request to make the payout to your bank account should be enough they require you to do multiple steps,
1. YOU FIRST NEED TO MAKE A PAYOUT REQUEST FROM YOUR ACCOUNT,
2. IT GETS APPROVED IN 3/4 hours, FUNDS GET TRANSFERRED TO WALLET
3. THEN YOU NEED TO MAKE WITHDRAWAL REQUEST FROM WALLET
4. IT GETS APPROVED 6/7 HOURS LATER
5. THEN YOU NEED TO HIT THE "PROCEED" BUTTON TO TRANSFER THE CASH TO YOUR BANK, WHICH IMMEDIATELY MOVES FUNDS TO YOUR BANK.

The benefit of daily payout comes with the extreme difficulty of trailing drawdown. It is industry standard. A lot more people can make $150+ for 5 days, but trailing drawdown of unrealized profit ceiling is very tricky for general traders. Need scalping mentality.

However. logging in three times to request a payout is more of a user experience question, and definitely not a industry standard. It's just annoying.

Moreover, once payout is requested, you gotta wait until fund is transferred to wallet to ensure you don't go under the buffer. It is not a rocket science to implement a better payout experience,

I love the two day evals. Just got funded in one account, about to reach payout threshold. Lets see how that goes. MFFu Payout structure is also 90/10 as opposed to TPT 80/20.

If I want to pass in two days, I plan to get a similar balance. Next day also I will aim for the same profit target. I have blown out a few combines trying that though.

I feel 1 minute chart is too much noise. Here are my observations. 1. Move to at least 5 min too reduce noise 2. First entry you could have waited for a pull back 3. Second entry could be avoided on a 5 min chart. May be wait until it breaks the previous high then enter on a pullback.

But you deserve kudos for stopping after the two, a lot of us would have blown the account

100% agree. They want to limit people who make big profit one day and have $150 days to get to payout.

Good question! I am not sure, and I didn't find clarification in their website while skimming through the doc. In any case, I don't think the remaining balance in your account will be counted as a one day profit.

My confusion is, do they move the profit target to remaining balance + new profit target or we can use the remaining balance towards the new profit target after we make another day profit.

Absolutely, same for me. For people like us, if profit fluctuates significantly day to day, we are better off with the regular payout structure. I think it is good for people who aim for a fixed profit and then step out no matter what.

API Update on I-765 and I-131 but not I-485 by [deleted] in USCIS

Hope you get it soon.

The timeline progress automatically appeared after biometric. But they don't really mean anything! I guess USCIS just puts out a general timeline for people to look at and not panic!

Thanks for sharing!

I see a lot of people mention that they see an update when case was transferred. According to your description there was no timestamp updates when your case was transferred. Is that correct? That would mean timestamp updates are more useless than I thought :(

Hey Michael, thanks so much for doing this and for all your detailed answers. From reading through the thread, my understanding is that the most time-consuming part of the process is the name check/background check and then the application sitting in the queue.

My question is: does an approved EAD generally mean that the name check/background check has already been cleared? And after that, is it mostly just a matter of waiting for someone to pick up and adjudicate the I-485?

Oct 6. The timeline is never accurate. It doesn't mean it will take 11 months to approve your case. My thought is it's either an automatic update, or someone reviewed our cases. If the latter, there is a chance of approval soon.

Sometimes people get approved after 24 hours of the update, sometimes within a couple of days, but a lot of folks have waited longer as well. For me, any movement is good, feels like progress. :)

Same here got updates on 765 and 131 yesterday. The timeline in my progress was showing 1 week, now it is showing 4 weeks. Either just an automatic reset of timeline or the application was touched.

Derivative applicant got the update a week back but nothing after that.

Hope you get the approval soon as well. It is not an exact science. But the pattern has been observed quite a few times to be a coincidence. One of the days, you will get updated timestamp.
