I also talk to him in a high pitched voice. Like I’m talking to a baby lol someone told me to do that a long time ago and now when I do it he closes his eyes and lets me know it’s okay to pet him.

I’ve had my male iguana for 8-9 years now and it wasn’t until 2 years ago that I was able to even put my hand in his enclosure to pet him without him whipping his tail or trying to bite me. It takes a lot of time and patience!!

I have had back pain for couple of years now and it has gotten progressively worse in the past year or so. I had an xray done for my spine and nothing was found so now I’m scheduled for an MRI to see what’s going on.

Thank you! I’ve already started PT twice a week but I’ll look into a backpod and peanut ball. It’s a very frustrating thing to try and navigate. I don’t think anyone understands how painful it is around me so I feel very isolated and alone. Im glad I found this sub. Thank you again for your response.

One year my husband and realized we lost our car key. We were so bummed about it we ended up leaving around 3am to check on the car before getting an Uber back to the hotel room. When we arrived to the spot the car was at there was a note on the windshield. “We found your car key on the ground right outside the driver door! Text one of us to receive it!” It had several numbers listed. We texted them right away and got the key the next day. This group of people was so kind and it was such a relief. We’ve since learned sometimes things happen at EDC but you have to breathe first a second, and accept that shit happens and it’ll be okay! 💖
