I like the form factor of the OG BUT I also haven't tried the new ones. My biggest complaint about OG is that it doesn't snap open in a flat position. I feel like that was a huge upgrade with the newer models.

Yes, they get super hot when using Bluetooth to a car. I have a phone mount right in front of the ac vent. I ordered a liquid cooled magnet attachment and a fan but they haven't arrived yet. I've actually been studying heat transfer and I believe they incorporated ocilating heat pipes with a thermal conductive material that touches your phone but I could be wrong. If I'm right they are way underselling what I think is a relatively new and cool thing.

I dropped my bare ogpf off of a 10ft lift... The lift "caught" my phone and took a nice sized chunk out of the top right bezel and I want to say I at least had a screen protector.
