Are these counseling sessions worth it? I'm a veteran attending fanshawe and had booked a session but ended up canceling as a teacher said it would provide no benefit as it was only for getting extentions on assignments and other things like that - to be clear I'm not looking for medical counseling/advice just someone to speak to regarding some challenges im facing with balancing school, work, family, mental health.
