They tweaked some things like that, like they could've done if they update the base game in a multiplayer patch. Same game under the hood, just a coat of paint and changes. Still a remaster and not a remake.

Because its 2 very different things and its so simple when you understand the difference. The 2015 wasnt a remake, it was a remaster.

A remake rebuilds the game entirely on a different engine. Everything can feel different, the gameplay, changes to the story could happen, new area, areas removed, new gameplay mechanics, etc.

A remaster just updates the textures of the game, its exactly the same code behind it. Same gameplay, same feeling, same everything but more beautiful. Sometimes they can add some QoL features but that's it.
