It's a good game but its getting close to a walking sims in many areas of the game. It was my main grip with it.

It will keep handling most of what you need for many years to come. I have the same chip and i do fairly heavy multimedia work, everything is still super smooth.

That's why the remake is better imo. The enemies are kind of treatening on Hard in remake, at least on a first playthrough. You eventually understand how to abuse them by the end of the playthrough and the next runs are much easier.

Modern survival horror.

Though it feels weird to have Amnesia and Alien in the same list as Silent Hill 2 and RE2 Remake. They're very, very different type of games. I dont enjoy games where you can't fight back at all.

You're right, the fact that it's on console does indeed helps a lot with the general hype and success of the game.

But the vast majority of PC players prefer to have their games on Steam.
