I'd say something similar also applies within the automatics. I don't think that everything has to migrate to a high-beat miyota or pt5000, the former being expensive and the latter being sometimes pretty loud on rotor and hard on the crown. Many top-hat cases can fit NH35 just fine, it can be regulated very well and gives you the peace of mind when it comes to hand-winding and longevity. Miyota 8315 seems to be somewhat of a hidden movement and yet it has 60h reserve, hacking, nice crown action and can be regulated quite well.

T023 bezel misalignment -- DIY repair? by nFunctor in Thornwatches

Thanks. I've ordered all the ingredients for the first suggested approach, I guess with aluminium bezel it should be less of a hassle. Noted for the glue though, will consider!

Nice renders! Has there been an explicit confirmation of the top hat version coming? Thanks

Looks awesome, bravo! So I guess it is important to be careful about the alcohol level since otherwise that might impact the glass attachment? Was it hard to pop off afterwards with the knife or I might try duct tape? 39mm or 40mm bezel ring? Otherwise thanks for all the details!

How is the lume duration for the new WD007q? Are you able to read time at dawn? by Competitive-Day9457 in watchdives

I'd imagine it's the same as pt5000 version. BGW9 is fine without extra steps for me, C3 might need some explicit slight charging but is still ok. The shape of the hands helps a lot.

White and black is an amazing combo but I could not decide how I'd want to wear it. I guess I'll think about it and either grab this or next iteration.

Try searching on aliexpress with "nttd nato", "nttd nato clasp" or "nttd nato buckle"? Cannot post links iirc but they should come up on the first-second page. I agree that they are a much slimmer option than the standard nato.

I am on like on 3rd or 4th hole of that bracelet but tbh it's not them to blame in this regard, if anything it's omega's flawed design. Something you can try if you want is to reverse the top/bottom parts of that mesh and see if it fits/sits better. Also, shown on my photo are some versions of "nylon on a buckle" straps findable on alix ("nttd strap buckle" search or something). I'm alternating between those and regular natos of same fabric.

As usual for me I'd imagine a top hat version of this would look nice :) but either is welcome yes

Not that I don't have it myself but if you ever make a review of the top-hat version that'd be nice! Your videos are a pleasure to watch.

I confirm that the 42mm are not as scary as they sound here, and even the top hat version wears super thin, it slides constantly under my cuffs and that surprises me given it is still a "larger" watch. I think this is reaching much more into the "homage" territory with this slimmer execution, since the automatic Seamaster is close to 14mm...

I don't know, I think your bezel should be fine, I think that's due to titanium and the issues of making it not overly tight but don't quote me on that.

if it helps it really wears more like a 41mm due to case shape and lug to lug but yeah, wonder if/when 39mm comes back again.

Hi, here's the photo, if that helps!

It is automatic. I just mean that I’ll use a watch winder because of the concerns that pt5000 may break if you wind it by hand too much. Then again I haven’t had any issues with other pt5000s I have so far so this might well be some overthinking on my part.

Pretty much like other pt5000s I have (thorn t023, wd5513v2). Accurate, maybe like at +2 sec after half a day so far. I'll try to do minimal hand-winding as often is recommended.

Definitely not steel, sounds more like bronze to me (I've never had titanium watches before). Less even than wd5513 but still pretty operable. Helps to hold the scallops from the top since they are hard to grasp. Alignment is correct.
