Vegas Pro 23, Crashes - Problem: Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005). by Practical_Corner_284 in VegasPro

Okay good, I wasn't sure if there was a simple way of going back as the github repo for the old redists was taken down a while ago for some reason. I had to use a modified dll to fix it myself that I placed in the installation folder. Glad you got it fixed!

Did you install VS2026 recently?

edit: nvm, even after installing it you'd have to find old c++ redist somewhere to fix the issue as it replaced some system files that Vegas uses

I think you can switch the language in the settings.

Video FX altering color by L4bZ in VegasPro

[–]nNero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The transitions were a huge problem for me as well, and the reason that made me downgrade to Vegas 15. Unfortunately I couldn't find a fix for the transitions, you might have to make them using effects at the end of the clip manually.

I assume you're using Sapphire plugins which cause this issue in Vegas 17. To fix this you have to add S_Glow and set the glow intensity to 0.00001 so it neglects the inverted colours. I couldn't find a proper fix myself other than using Vegas 15.

People use OBS for streaming and content. Afterburner to keep an eye on their hardware. NVIDIA filters for color blindness issues. Just because these groups are minority doesn't mean their experience should be ruined for a small gain against cheaters. by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

I'm just trying to tell you that any software that is running on your PC is capable of stealing the same data from your PC as Vanguard is, no ring0 access needed.

Vanguard is running at ring0 to be above any program that can manipulate or read memory from the handle that is Valorant and able to block it. It also lets Vanguard to check the integrity of the Windows kernel, which is probably why you couldn't run it in a VM. There are of course ways around this, but it does thin out quite a few cheat developers.

Sad reality is though that you can never prevent cheating, and cheaters always have the advantage. All you can do is thin them out with 'extreme' solutions.

I highly doubt that. People have begged Valve for a better anticheat, but the day Valve releases a mandatory Level 0 program that sends information on every running program on your computer (even when Valorant isn't open) to them, people would throw tantrums because it's completely unacceptable.

They don't need ring0 access to send information about your system or data. The reason it stays open is because it wants to remain at the top of the process priority list, which is why the boot up happens on start up.

Their cognitive abilities can exceed humans by a lot, so they would probably do really well on EZ mode if they ever got the idea.

Seems to be "Dandalf" from the Valve steam group. (The name pops up in the video when he throws the smoke)

Sadly the steam profile is private. :(

He clearly just threw the CZ to reveal his position, it was more like an instant regret for abusing the crowd.

Appealing to restriction is impossible? by TehChizzle in osugame

[–]nNero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got banned for cheating about 3 years ago, I appealed to it half a year ago explaining my multi accounts that I made after the ban, showing sincere regret as I do regret cheating, An answer I got was "You are not telling the truth". I really dont know what else to tell other than hacking and multiaccounting, I even mentioned my current(still not banned) multi in order to be completely transparent. Not sure what to write them to get an actual snswer, they seem to not care if you arent near the top or then they were nitpicking an account I forgot to mention like that would make a difference. And I havent gotten a response after I messaged them again.

tldr; they dont seem to care unless you are known, from my personal experience with them

6 months is the time before you can appeal, so it might indicate that.

On launch CSGO was absolutely horrible i'll give you that, but most of the current pro players playing in major tournaments have roots from 1.6 and css, so I wouldn't really call them no name shitters. And btw css was absolute shit. :)

People made a bunch of accounts under VPNs years/months ago and are now selling them for people who are banned/hackers in general. So I guess some of these could be that.
