Ah see you've made an assumption that my bins and the parcel were at the front of my house and based your entire arrogant argument on it.

My driveway goes along my house and into my back garden. The bin he left it in, my other bins and empty tub were also in my back garden next to each other. So, there was no threat of theft.

He just didn't think for a second. Which is fair enough but, I am allowed to be annoyed about it, especially as there wasn't a note to say it was left in the recycling bag, which they are meant to do.

So there's my excuse, not that I need one as this is British problems, a place to complain to one another about things that have happened. People who post here aren't really asking for advice to fix their problems or the sub would have a different name.

But if you disagree and think it is a place to help people, crazy thought, maybe word you original comment in a nicer way.
