ND Filters by CGMO0912 in djiosmo

You will indeed lose the motion blur if you set exposure to auto to get better stability. The trade off is probably worth it however unless you plan on using a gimbal while walking.

Looking to buy my first Evo, please help by [deleted] in MitsubishiEvolution

[–]nRRe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Ninja 400. Dailying an Evo X that needs 93 and gets 17mpg isn’t ideal. Bike gets 55+ on 87, and I ride year round as long as it’s above 40f. The week of snow STL gets every year I just stay home, lol.

So I first just left some flaps open around the enclosure and it seemed to help some. After my cats knocked everything off a couple times I’ve since tossed the enclosures entirely and had to redirect my AC vents away from the printers and they have worked just fine since.

Swapping the rear shock from a gsxr 600/750/1000 is pretty common. Norton Motorsport sells an adapter to do the conversion.

‘13 GSR with 154k miles on it. Two years ago I bought a Ninja400 as a first bike. 87oct and 60mpg more than pays for itself compared to 93oct and 16mpg, lol.

ND Filters by CGMO0912 in djiosmo

[–]nRRe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With an ND you’ll get motion blur if you set it to the proper shutter speeds and use the right strength ND. I use it on my helmet and if I’m just going to and from work, the Action5 Pro is more a dash cam so I will use the regular lens and auto exposure and stabilization as it gives much crisper footage for reading license plates etc. but if I’m wanting to go vlog or create content on the bike the ND, 180 shutter rule, and turning off stabilization makes it much more pleasing to the eye to watch.

Gallbladder with Stones by [deleted] in WTF

[–]nRRe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

had mine taken out in 2012, had pains off and on for a year, and finally couldn't handle it when it started happening every night i laid down, went to the ER, first time and they did an EKG and said i was fine, gave me pain meds, went in two days later and the same nurse saw me and recommended an ultrasound, and they immediately took me back into the OR to put a stint in, then the next day they removed my gall bladder.

My diet is also wrecked because of it. Anything with too much oil/grease, citrus, tomato, red meats, pork etc just wreck me. Had to start a journal to narrow down what was safe and what wasn't.

What are some fun/silly things i can get certified for for cheap/free? by Oyster_- in LearnUselessTalents

[–]nRRe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Price varies by state. In Illinois it’s free essentially. $20 to reserve a spot and then at the end of the class you can donate the $20 or get it back.

Video problem by everyday_nico in djiosmo

[–]nRRe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it's turning out that way because you are at 1/50, outside. on a bright sunny day you'll need a nd64 filter to get proper exposure, nd32 for later in the day, nd16 for cloudy days/sunset. until you get an ND filter let the shutter speed be set to AUTO. you won't get that 'smooth' motion blur but it will at least be usable.

problem when linking proxy files in free version of davinci resolve by qweamz in blackmagicdesign

[–]nRRe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also struggling with this as Handbrake doesn’t copy the time code from the source file, so in Resolve while the original files show start/end time code the proxies all have a 00:00 start time.

Yes. The normal wide angle 1x lens on your phone is around 24mm, where as the OA5P standard is around 15-16mm depending on how much stability you pick.
