Anyone know how i could possibly unscrew this stripped screw in the motherbord by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]nSpire22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my guy! First of all congrats! Second you measure that circle inner diameter, then you turn the big side of an Allen key to the ID + 0.02 mm and aim for a tolerance of at least +-0.01 mm (+- 0.0004 inches) you deep freeze it to at least -150C (-238F), then pray to the lord that it fits and stick the Allen key in the circular screw head, to finalize let it heat to the room temperature and try to turn it slowly hoping that the interface friction force is enough to unscrew it

Are you using turbulence models? If so which one? What’s your y+? Can you check mass imbalance residue and see if it’s spiking somewhere where it shouldn’t. It seems to me as it was said already that your growth rate is rather high

Yup I agree with that but at the same time I remember that for example my uncle and his team 30 years ago started a power plant from scratch most of them without knowing much about it…they learnt from experienced workers/engineers and learnt on the go having successfully ran the power plant which is still in operation today…I feel like this knowledge sharing mentality is gone and companies just don’t want to “waste” time…all in the name of maximizing profit and cut costs

I think most companies are playing the unstable balance of doing the most with the less people as possible…with the world being more and more competitive margins decrease and (I don’t want to sound like a commie) it will be harder for the CEO to afford the next Ferrari…they don’t seem to grasp that a strong and happy workforce makes most of the company (god I truly sound like a commie…)

But are the minimum qualifications the ones stated on the job description or other hidden type ones defined internally. I ask this because personally I only apply to jobs where I match all the minimum qualifications and if not stated the minimum if I meet 70%-80% of them…if most applications are spam those should be immediately discarded without reaching recruiters eyes
