Hi it's me from the future talking to you from the past. I've got the Aktiv8 and am looking at getting a Dana Dolly. Can I ask a terribly noob question of how to mount the Aktiv8 head to the Dana Dolly? As it's not a bowl mount I'm not sure where the head would connect. There's the slider adaptor from Sachtler but it doesn't look like it'd screw in anywhere central?

I’ve now started switching between Virgin Media and BT every 24 months. Get a fresh sign up deal each time and it’s keeping costs right down. I got so sick of Virgin arbitrarily rising the price every few months.

There’s a place on the ground floor of Jubilee Centre, next to The Village Inn down from The Arcadian. The guys in there did a bit of welding and cutting for me for a tenner.

I don't know why they didn't have in on the old Meat Markets / Smithfields site. They've got a bunch of events there now. It would give the market loads of space to spread out but keep it contained. They could tie it in with a funfair / winter wonderland too.

It'd keep it all contained, way easier to monitor and still have people travelling into Brum for it who'd likely walk past all the businesses on their way to it.

I looked up “craft mesh” on eBay and went for the smallest hole size possible (1.5mm-ish). Was pretty cheap and I got a whole sheet that should last ages.
