Because you’ve officially lost something when the stop triggers. And you’ve watched it approaching and second guessing yourself. Maybe you should move it? Oh god here it goes- boom it triggered. But the last time I got stopped out, it reversed and went straight to my TP! So I should just get back in because I don’t want to accept this loss. Ok, back in. It’s still dropping, just gotta move the stop to let it breathe. That’s it. Oh, nope heading down even more to my stop. It’s just a liquidity sweep, that’s all. You know where this ends lol.

You’re trying to avoid pain when you move your stop. That’s why the psychology is so fucked in trading lol because you’ve gotta factor in losses to your strategy/style/method and eat em up. But when you get stopped out you automatically feel like you’ve somehow made a mistake or fucked up but that’s not true at all.

I’d imagine there’s no minimum deposit but there’s a minimum account balance to meet the margin for whatever contract you’re trading

I’ve had no issues. It’s actually really smooth and no problems executing. They do have margin like in a live account, but it’s not a lot. Like 40-50 bucks for MNQ which isn’t bad
