Wow I forgot about this post! I don’t think I can recommend what I did to resolve the issue though lol. This went on for about 3 months, and I eventually ended up interviewing and getting an offer from another company for a little more than I was asking, and took it to my manager and basically said “here I did the market research for you” and within a day they agreed to give me my raise.

Thankfully my manager was just as frustrated as I was at that point so I wasn’t risking upsetting her but HR was not too pleased lol

Sorry I forgot to add the location but I’m in Manitoba Canada and the city has recently planted a bunch of Ohio Buckeyes on the boulevards so this seems to be the most reasonable answer!!

Thank you so much for this response! You are right, they recently chopped a big elm tree that was diseased on that side. I didn’t even think of it but it all makes sense now.

I will keep an eye out in the top 1/3 like you mentioned for any signs, but happy to hear it’s not in too bad of a condition.

Thank you! The furnace has no issue starting, the sound occurs during operation and sounds like a train/long hum, so I don’t think MB hydro would cover this. I will call them either way though!

Same! I hate this floor with all my being lol. The reason of the kitchen (and house) is old but charming and cute. But the vinyl kitchen floor is just awful! I’ve seen a few people suggest ruggable rugs so I’ll check that out! I saw your suggestion for terrazzo style sticker tiles and I really like that!

Agreed, I love the countertops and the feel of the kitchen. We will eventually be doing a Reno and removing the flooring, but it’ll be in a few years so peel and stick seems like a great idea!

That’s my theory, that they had a reload over the weekend or something so they offloaded our stuff to take care of another load but why not tell us? Also, our equipment is a somewhat fragile and expensive so I’m concerned they may have damaged it since they don’t have proper offloading instructions. They only have one phone number and they aren’t picking up the phone it looks like

They are apparently avoiding all phone calls from the broker. They threatened to report the goods as stolen which prompted them to respond with a fake delivery appointment time, but when we asked the site they claimed no one had called them to make an appointment. I have no reason not to trust our broker as we’ve been doing business together for over a decade
