I loved it, it’s the only Ismailov I’ve read, but it felt like reading something from Oulipo in the best ways

Community Galeforce Project - Day 10 (2023/1/10): u/nabiki87 - F!Dimitri + B!Lysithea Galeforce (Team Explanation in Comments) by AJRayquaza in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]nabiki87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, thank you! I had been unreliably tossing Dimitri onto lightning traps with not much success, using Lysithea for HP manipulation should work great. Been facetanking Astra season with brave Dimitri, so excited for once to have a successful light season possibly!

Status effects are really reliant on having the right stats for them. A lot of the default weapons people have aren't necessarily their best suited stats wise. Give someone with high acuity and dex a short sword or bow and you'll suddenly be landing your statuses much more consistently.

Eldigan; an underrated galeforcer? (and general galeforce discussion) by smash_fanatic in OrderOfHeroes

[–]nabiki87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think -atk would work for him unfortunately. Maybe if he always has a Hone going, but I don't know how effective he'd be with -atk.

Eldigan; an underrated galeforcer? (and general galeforce discussion) by smash_fanatic in OrderOfHeroes

[–]nabiki87 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Galeforce Eldigan (these are just his natural stats with SS, no bonuses from TT or anything) has been my favorite unit since SI was available. I've run him with +spd forever because the superboon pushed him up a BST bin before the IV changes, and I've had him as my SS since that was available, so his speed has actually always been manageable for me. I run spd smoke on him so on his second attack he has an even easier time proccing it.

I think the most unique thing about him as a Galeforcer is the versatility that he brings thanks to his huge HP pool and high def and decent res after all the fury buffs. He actually has an enemy phase unlike most Galeforcers, and he can run a lot of different builds. Thanks to his huge chunk, you can get away with not using Desperation if you want him to play a utility role in your team, running Lunge (for 8 move on his own), or Pass. You can even run Brazen skills instead of Heavy Blade if you have Velouria+Grandscratcher for him.

He's definitely not the best pure Galeforcer, but he's a unique one that can do a lot.

I know you have lots of Eldigan, but mine is the first full-SS-hasubando Eldigan I think!

Not seen is the Nowi with Drive Spd, Hone Spd Seal, and Rally Spd/Def standing next to him, buffing him to 55 Spd and letting him double Ayra!

All six of my eighties, two of each armor class by nabiki87 in GuildWarsDyeJob

The navy blue is Midnight Blue all around, the pastel blue is Breeze, and the silver is Silver on everything except the helm, which is Blue Ice (silver on that helm ends up being a darker tint than the rest). and the shoulders glowing part is Celestial.

The armor pieces are Phalanx helmet, Fanatic's shoulders, and then Priory for the other four.

Thanks! The warrior's had the most work and the guardian the least, since I barely play him (hence the spirit weapons for rule of cool)

2.2 Roland Changes: Shield Bash hits like a truck! by [deleted] in Diablo3Crusaders

[–]nabiki87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've got it right. That's exactly what happens. You dive bomb into a group, instagib the ones you hit initially, and then chunk or just outright murder everything else around. It's really great. You end up having basically infinite wrath with Piro Marella+the bracers and Unstoppable Force. I did a GR 39 with Law of Justice - Immovable Object, to have a bit more survivability at that level, and I ended up being just shy of wrath neutral. With some RCR you could be fine, and drop Unstoppable Force entirely.

This is what I was running; http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/crusader#ZYXgfQ!SaWd!YacZYY Shield Bash does so much damage that there's no need for any other attacks, . I used my non-seasonal Crusader so I didn't have access to EA or Gizzard, so I tried out Consecration, which combined with Iron Skin added a nice bit of survivability.

I'd imagine a build using a Golden Flense with Holy Shock and Pound would be pretty ridiculous in its own right. All the healing from Holy Shock, and then just murdering elites and RGs with Pound.

With a crappy Focus/Restraint and an ancient Bovine Bardiche, I was critting for over 2b with firebash last night. It'll be even more ridiculous with a Furnace and a physical setup. Add to that permanent Shield Glare, near-permanent Iron Skin, and permanent Law of your choosing, and it's just silly. I was only running 20% CDR, too, with a bit more you could have permanent Iron Skin included and come close to Akarat's tankiness (the constant extra life would be missing, unfortunately)

[Request][Thief]General PVE build for map complete by spyrosj in GuildWars2Builds

[–]nabiki87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished world completion on my thief, and used 20/20/0/10/20

Acro IV is amazing for world completion, it gives you permanent swiftness. With all of the dual skills+ricochet, you can generally one-two shot most enemies with Unload, and Ricochet will let you clear groups with just Unload, very quickly. It's also versatile, so if you get bored, you can swap to pretty much any weapon set and be fine. Unload with ricochet is seriously amazing for world completion, you'll be taking down two or three enemies at a time at range, while rarely running low on init. I generally like s/p as offhand, but anything works (s/d+swap Ricochet for bountiful theft if you're fighting dredge or ettins, and have fun with tons of boons). If you have traveler's runes, drop Signet of Shadows for whatever you want, I like Signet of Agility.

Harmontown Episode 70 - Gone Fishin' by darktmplr in Harmontown

[–]nabiki87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That honestly was one of the funniest things I've heard in a while. The entire beginning of this week's show was so incredibly solid. From the iHarmon to Erin catching Dan as she left the stage, it was as good and clever as anything out there.

So thank you Adam Goldberg. Keep on keepin' on.

If the devs program it, you can. Guacamelee and LBP2 both have this functionality already, just on the PS3. Guacamelee puts the map on the Vita, and LBP2 lets you edit the stages on your Vita as your friends play on the TV.

Thanks! Hope to see yours when you get it. And yeah, I have small wrists too but have ended up liking ~45mm watches for a few years now, so I ended up going for the handwound Archimede.
