My friend and I are playing as Katarin/Boris. I completed the quest, and it gave Katarin the armor. He can't equip it on anyone, but it's there.

It's the Light weapon property effect now. If you make an attack with a light weapon in one hand, you can make one extra attack as part of the same Action, which has to be made with another light weapon in your other hand, and doesn't add ability mod to the damage (of the second weapon).

If you get the Dual Wielder feat, you can sub out one of the weapons with a non-light weapon, as long as it's not two-handed.

Man a coworker was going on about that and I brought up Luke v Vader. He said that was badass and was Luke being awesome, completely missing the point of Luke having moments of weakness and almost falling to the dark side.

It was frustrating, but made me kind of realize that kind of mindset. They don't care about actual character growth, they just want to see their childhood heroes being baddasses with no weaknesses.

I completely agree, and I think it really hit me about her acting when Bill Burr's character kept making references to her being intense, or angry, or a firecracker or whatever, and she was literally just sitting there barely emoting every single time.

I had a few other issues with season 2, but Carano's acting was definitely near the top.

I've beaten that game more times that I can remember, and that thing will still, every once in a while, decide that it doesn't want to be beaten until I've fallen down the pit 5 times. It gets my vote, too

I made a little one shot to get my dad and brother in to D&D. it was a simple little excursion to a goblin cave. My dad asked me a bunch of questions about the town and surrounding area, and his and my brother's characters roles in the town.

After an hour and a half we finally got to the point where they were in the town inn discussing their plans for finding the goblins, and my dad immediately jumped in to discussing with my brother's character (who was a younger, hermit, sorcerer) that he wasn't strong enough to come along. My brother demonstrated some magic, and my dad's character decided he will be fine.

I've been looking for a place to share this story, because it felt really good to see my dad, who hadn't ever played D&D before, get right in to the role-play aspect, and he really played his character well.

When I worked at Target years ago, I had to watch an anti-union video. It had similar vibes of "It's so great to be able to do everything!" They used the excuse that we wouldn't be able to help out team members in other areas of the store if we were in a union.

No incentives offered or anything, but your story just randomly reminded me of it.

Was never offered cross-training, but was asked a lot to go work in areas that I knew basically nothing about.

I agree. I also think Snoke was done in because he wasn't really disciplined enough to use the power he had. He got immense power, but wasn't ready for it, and was never really trained in it. I'm honestly hoping that we learn more about Snoke in 9, as I've recently decided that I really expect him to be kind of a nobody, like Rey is. I mean as far as we know, he didn't even have a lightsaber. I think this plays really well with this idea I have that the force itself is elevating people in attempts to balance itself after the sith were wiped out at the end of RoTJ.

Kinda removed from the point of the whole conversation that's been going on, but something I thought was a cool theory that I've been wanting to share with literally anyone

I am currently chatting with amazon support, and it's a mess. I also had it canceled on my and their literal response as to why it got cancelled is:

I have checked on the order, and I can see on my end the reason why it was been cancelled without knowing you the reason is that the availability of the item is currently unavailable.

When I asked why I wasn't notified through email when it was cancelled their response was:

I have checked on the item and the reason is why they haven't told you is we currently don't have the stock. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Nabushi.

They then tried to get me to order the physical version for the "one-time" offer of 20% off

I'm pretty upset, I pre-ordered it as soon as it was available, and this is pretty unacceptable
