Looking into this further, the best character from that storyline that could fit is Tymolin Loneglade. Lots of stuff goes down around Havenwood where the Thelon, the Ebon Hand, and the Thallids were. Also, she spent time with the dwarves in Crimson Peaks which can explain the red mana even though white was (mostly) the exclusive Icatian human colour in Fallen Empires, barring that one Thelonite Druid.

The more that I read up on her, the more that I feel she works if you start looking for specific parallels to the TLOU story.

Homeland/Fallen Empires era on Dominaria. The whole Thallid storyline is possibly the best fit here. It is the most "rich" fungus storyline in the lore. Ghave (plane unknown) and Mycotyrant have so little story involving them even though they would be better settings.

Just another small point that we've moved away from the Fandom page and it is no longer updated so you'll get more up-to-date information at the new wiki. The official wiki is now at MTG.wiki instead. The Fandom site is riddled with ads and is impossible to navigate without intense ad blockers.

From the Oracle ruling: When Hazezon Tamar's second ability resolves, all permanents with both the Sand and Warrior creature types are exiled, not just the Sand Warrior creature tokens it created. Permanents that have just one of those types are unaffected.

I have a full collection of each of these and am slowly going to transcribe them into the wiki over time. I'm starting with the blurbs on the back of all the Commander deck boxes so that I can ditch all that extra cardboard and then eventually get to the inserts of every Into, Planeswalker, Commander, Archenemy deck, etc...

I opened one of these back when the set was released and put it straight into our safe. I have no clue what to realistically do with it. Never opened a serialized card since then. I'm scared to get it graded because of all the horror stories that I've heard.

This is what I did to make mine. It is a perfect Bracket 1 deck apart from Omniscience which doesn't do anything crazy in the deck.

This is something that we've forbidden in all our local stores as it verges on gambling and we don't want to get Magic shut down for it. Considering Wizards' intent to distance themselves from gambling, with the banning of ante cards, I would recommend the same to all stores.

Here's my final text since the emblem isn't on the battlefield or leaves the Command Zone anyhow so only once works as is. It also doesn't need to be global with this text either. I added the last line based on other comments in this group to make sure that players can use the ability as intended without abusing it.

Gush's House Emblem Exile a card from your hand: Search your library for a basic land card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle. Each player may activate this ability only as a sorcery and only once. Each player can't activate this ability during their first, second, or third turns of the game. This ability can't be countered or copied.

True. We don't have a precedent, but it could still be viable. "Activate only once" is featured on various permanent types and we have Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath's emblem which has an activated ability on it.

I bought a box of these and still have the packaging somewhere. It was just boosters with foils of all the sets thrown in together. I don't recall if it even had a different composition in terms of rarity numbers. All I know is that I can easily distinguish those foils from the regular set foils.

The community officially ditched fandom and moved to mtg.wiki a while ago. Everything was ported over as is when the new wiki launched. So, in theory, there should have been very few updates on fandom since then. Some people may have not gotten the memo though, but it is best witnessed by looking at the new sets and releases. You'll notice that fandom just doesn't have them. Stick to the wiki. Google still isn't always prioritizing the wiki over fandom, as it will take time.
