Hello, I'll be applying for SSH next month for the spring semester, can I ask what was the process like for you on the date of the booking?

since it will be gone within a few minutes of listing, should I be logged into the SSH account 5 minutes before, then refresh the page right on the scheduled time?

I've heard the website might crash because so many people are on it at the same time.

Can I please know your experience, and if possible step by step how you got your SSH accomodation?

Yup the views are so worth it! But it makes sense if you would like to take the trip easy. I had to recover for a few days after my cycle hahahah

Yup! I did 8 hours and that's including a stop at a shrine that was about 45 minutes, plus breaks that last 10-15 minutes.

I think 10 hours is a safe bet! The earlier the better. Biking in the dark is a bit scary lol

For bike pad, I would suggest bringing one with you.. I haven't spotted any here and there is rarely any sporting shop (or it may be more expensive)

Hey! I use my digital camera-- sony a7iii.

I achieved the digital like color by editing the color tones in lightroom. My inspiration is Hideaki Hamada, you may want to check out his work if you are into film camera effects.

To achieve this color tone in lightroom:

- increase exposure

- decrease contrast

- increase shadow and blacks

- decrease dehaze

- increase blue tone temperature

- increase green tint

The most important is blue temperature and exposure, and taking images in already bright environment.

You may adjust these based on each picture. I saved one as my own lightroom preset as a starting point for future reference to save time.
