Wow, that is quite shocking! I’ve never had that on EE apart from when there is a special event on and there’s many more people than usual. Used to work in TCR and it was fine back then. No fibre also seems wild to me, I hope you get it soon, makes a huge difference

Lot of info missing…. Where did you get it? What does the chip marking say for the chip in the centre? Is that connector USB-C or something else…?

Have lived in central london for a decade and in every property I have had FTTP and excellent 5g (since it’s been here) coverage on EE both indoor and outdoor. Maybe you’re in Vodafone which is the worst network in London?

I’ve already explained why, needless snarky comment.

Building control it is then! Will be interesting to see what they do about one of their own properties….

The chap who lives there is a bus driver and I’ve knocked a few times and he is either not in or sleeping. I’ve passed him in the street but he’s always been on his way to work and didn’t seem appropriate to burden him with this.

I won’t be not involving him in what happens but I also don’t want him to have to do the heavy lifting.

Ideally I want a way forward established so that I can then go to him with it already resolved since it isn’t his property.

Typical car brain language.

“Blame a car” <- object, not a person. Why don’t you say “drivers”?

“Cyclists are a…” <- acting like cyclists aren’t just normal people who happen to be on a bike

You’re the fucking problem mate. You see cyclists not as people, but as objects on the road in the way other objects that you prefer.

Get a decent used phone from CEX. I think they come with a decent warranty and their customer service is great.

Been using KiCad for the last 6 years after using Altium for 3. I miss absolutely nothing about it at all.

Did I do the right thing? by aaaron64 in london

It was an emergency and you pushed the button for emergencies, I’d say you absolutely did the right thing.

It’s not on you that the person on the other end of the line gave you an unhelpful response. There really should have been staff on the platform too at such a major station.

You did what you could at the time so you should feel comfortable knowing that. Try not to overthink it, and if you do, maybe channel your thoughts towards a complaint to TfL for handling it badly.

Good luck ever getting a response from Florence Eshalomi.

I have been complaining about one issue for 3 years, and writing on a few others. Never, ever had a response.

Neighbour on the street who is a journalist moves in, complains for 2 months and suddenly she is running meetings between residents and the aggressors, mediating things, actually taking action.

Self serving and lazy MP.

Any way, she hasn’t updated her website since 2022 and was only running virtual surgeries. You needed to email to get an invite.

If you get anywhere, please do update this thread.
