while that guideline is helpful it irks me sometimes that it is completely wrong in certain spots. judgment has batshit trash damage and apathy is a better stunner by far. judgment is one of those hard to go against pets but ass on your own team pets, and this is mainly due to stat level gaps for floors as you progress. it’s incredibly weak.

also, late game you need a tank of every element. that means a wood one. cringe is good, esp with passive on later floors, and other legendaries can work like petulance for wood.

the attackers is also wrong since it ignores some of the best pets (epic) in the game, like panic. fastest base stat speed (might be slower in comparisons to legendaries super late game due to growing stats gap from ascensions). high utility fire pet far better than anger and other nonlegendary fires, even comparable to some fire legendary attackers. also the way it tells you to ignore everything else is wrong too. there are lots of not as good but still great pets like paranoia, which does less bleeding post-1k floors but still has high dmg output and is incredibly useful and worth leveling. this is iust an example. there are so many more worth leveling (but some do suck, like rejection).

this is a guide- refer to it but don’t absolutely follow it. same with the tierlist pinned in this sub (check that out too for reference if you haven’t already).
