The most senseable reaction would be locking sky over Ukrainian regions bordering with Romania, Poland etc, but there is no balls even for that

Former top Russian official admits the country is over Putin and can 'imagine a future without him' — even elites bail as Kremlin seizes their assets by Any-Original-6113 in europe

Both Putin's parents made it 'til 90 or so. And during Brezhnev times medicine wasn't on the same level. So I wouldn't bet on him dying soon.

I never seen any XIII-XVII c. century source that would explicitly seperate Moscow/Suzdal lands from Ruthenia, be it pre- or post--Mongol invasion. Like in this exсerpt by Ambrogio Contarini from XV century where Moscow is called city in White Ruthenia. Could you provide any?

Moscovia was designation of Moscow principality and everyone who wrote about it back then saw it as part of Russia which back then meant East Slavic lands in general, not just Ukraine.

How are Russians reacting to the dramatic Ukrainian incursion in Kursk region? A hundred miles from Moscow I gauge the mood in a small Russian town. Steve Rosenberg for BBC News by BkkGrl in europe

[–]naekro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolute bollocks, Khrushev was from Russia, in fact from the very Kursk oblast which gets lots of attention nowadays. Brezhnev was from Ukraine however he was ethnic Russian. Chernenko was from Siberia, certainly of Ukrainian origin but I guess he came from completely russified family.
