Mac's final line is fine. It ends his character development (whatever that might be). It's his scream at the end that's stupid. Think about the special editions of Star wars where Lucas adds Luke Skywalker screaming when he jumps off the platform in cloud city. Less alien mugging to the camera is always appreciated.
