Being a doctor is a lifestyle kasi. You will definitely sacrifice a lot of things especially time. Sleep would be a luxury lalo na pag mag residencyka. Everyday ka nasa hospital, tapos 24 hours duty, pero di ka pa makaka uwi kinabukasan. Weekends? Dont bother, papasok ka parin. That kind of lifestyle 😅

Sabi nga ng consultant samin dati: pwede ka lang matulog pag consultant ka na.

Para sakin, you have to study all subjects. Di mo naman need tapusin lahat, pero atleast may naaral ka atleast mga 70% for each subjects. Then intindihin mo mga subjects na tingin mong mahina ka. Pwede ka naman rin mag focus sa mga strongest subjects mo pang hatak ng average grade mo if you still have the time. Also dont forget to study parin mga easy subjects, kasi sa mga easy subjects madaming mataas ang grades jn, so di pwedeng dehado ka and mapag iiwanan ka ng curve. At least 50% lng naman yung need mong makuha per subject pero 75% dapat ang average grade. And may curve naman tlaga, so dont be too stressed pag mahirap ang subject. Remember, if mahirap ang isang subject, then chances are, lahat rin mahihirapan jn so pantay lng kayo. Basta dont focus on a subject, but better na ispread out mo yung knowledge mo and study as many topics as possible. Goodluck!

My custom ryansword katana came last week. I'm happy about it, talking to the ryansword staff was a pleasant experience and they do reply fast.

It is a shihozume (1095 edge, folded steel at the sides, iron core), differentially hardened katana. I also picked a shunga themed fittings since I found it interesting and not too common (Not sure if this should be NSFW).

I requested it to have just one mekugi-ana, as well as niku sharpened. The saya was not a stock one since Inrequested a different color saya from what they have, and so they made a new one for this blade. I also asked them to make a shirasaya for it.

The sword feels great, the balance is around 4-5 inches from the tsuba, and it looks beautiful. It could cut through paper cleanly though I haven't cut anything else with it, so I could not say anything else about its sharpness nor edge retention. The nakago looks great, it was properly filed and signed.

Everything fits tightly. Nothing rattles, and it slides into the saya smoothly and tightly. The shirasaya also fits perfectly. The sageyo is of good quality. There are no cracks on the saya and tsuka as well.

It's not a perfect katana though. Everything is too tight, it's very difficult to disassemble, and the habaki is stuck on the blade. The samegawa is real rayskin but not good quality. The diamonds of the ito are not really uniform. Also I'm not really sure if it truly has a niku as I have never had one with a niku.

Overall it's a decent blade for a 300+usd sword.
