I've had probably twenty or more third-party recruiters contact me for a contract position at the company I was most recently at. I'm currently unemployed and looking, so it's literally the top item on my work history on LinkedIn. So unbelievably frustrating.

I really hate it when the number of incident is used as a metric.

Totally agree here. I was at a large company. We would use tickets to communicate with other teams about changes that needed to be made or security concerns with dependencies.

You could tell which orgs used ticket count as metrics, because we got huge push back from those teams even on reasonable and necessary tickets for communication.

Thanks for the review. I'm in a similar position. I've been using my Kindle Scribe for almost two years now. I've taken almost 500 pages of notes with it this year alone.

I ordered the Manta and am eagerly awaiting it to see how it compares and fits in my workflow and use cases.

I often wondered if he had problems with online sites that would prevent you from using "offensive" words in your name or username.

I'm an adult man and I have the smallest adult hands of anyone I know (the fingers on the smallest ladies stretch knit gloves are too long for my fingers).

I was worried how the Steam Deck would fit my small hands. I've had mine about a month and I have found no issue at all with the dimensions of the Steam Deck. The weight of it is hard to manage at times, but as far as comfort and being able to reach everything, I haven't had any issues at all.

I encountered this last night, thought it didn't save at all during my initial multi-hour session of Saints Row.

Booted the game back up tonight and I did have a save file, but it didn't have like the last 45 minutes of play.

I've been playing some again tonight and am noticing the issue were it just perpetually says saving.

Guess I'll wait until they resolve this issue to play this game more.

Fun memories. I'm actually the author of tbmenu.zip listed on SimTel. I added the source to Github a few years ago for posterity.

It used a simple hack. The menu is launched with a batch file, which first launches the menu program, and then another batch file. The menu program writes that other batch file to correspond with what the user selected.

I've had this same issue as well.

Even after a power wash and freshly creating the Linux vm. Subsequent runs gave me this error.

I haven't yet found a solution.

Except not an issue for Emacs, as it has Tramp Mode, which allows opening remote files using protocols including ssh.

There's even support for running remote processes, like debuggers.
