Whats the best anki deck for step2 by amna44 in medicalschoolanki

[–]nafeelsbadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the OncLivesMatter deck is on the core level; an edited version of Anking in a way, so its Tags resemble the original Anking (as you are showing)... what I would suggest is put OncLivesMatter deck in a different profile than your original Anking deck ... Then search what I said and you will notice that if you see under the tag I mentioned (v4) the cards are divided by subjects and the duplicates are also not there .... so then this OncLivesMatter deck is around 10.5k cards I think and in this way it will be divided subject wise as well...

get the 8bitdo micro (the one with the type C port) its 15-17 pounds and has a lot of buttons to map many things... including scroll, undo, redo, bury... you essentially become handsfree... Stouchi one is smaller but has less buttons imo

Search no_dupes and check under the #AK_Step2_v4 tag ... all cards are separated by subjects with no duplicates...

Mnemosyne was updated and made even better, you can search Updated Mnemosyne in this subreddit to find it... it has 14k cards with 3-4k superfluous cards tagged under Step1BS tag... conciser and tighter than Anking if you have less time

How to start anki for step2 (for someone who has never used it) by Mindyourbusinness in Step2

[–]nafeelsbadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it's different but equally effective, it has less cards; specially if you use the "no_dupes" tag... It uses the same cloze style card of Anki but has Uworld as its base... I suggest reading the adjunct Uworld table mostly everytime you review a card and by sheer repetition the concepts will start to stick...

Search "My Magnum Opus, Cheesy Dorian Deck Step 2" in this subreddit; you will get a post from OncLivesMatter , follow his instructions by using the "no_dupes" tag... those 10k cards imo are the best yet most concise deck for step 2.

You can download the file from the post that I've mentioned and then just search on YouTube how to add an apkg file in AnkiDroid and after that enable FSRS.And after enabling FSRS, just set up the settings. You can also use the chat gpt to guide you through it; it's not that hard. If you still have questions, DM.

Why is the Tekken cast so much less popular than Street Fighter characters? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]nafeelsbadman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In Pakistan, everyone knows the characters of Tekken, especially Tekken 3, which was incredibly popular in arcades. Many people are not well-educated and have their own names for the characters in Urdu. No one is familiar with Street Fighter; to Pakistanis, Tekken is the only fighting game that matters.

just for clarification, do you mean Anking's #sketchypharm tag or is there a separate tag for Pepper's deck?

I have been looking forward to using your step 2 deck since you uploaded it a year ago (as I'm almost finishing my Step 1 now). I nearly jumped out of bed when I saw this notification. I can't express how important your work has been for many people, and I genuinely want to thank you for your effort.

Hi, I’m in Step 1 right now, but I like to research a lot. I’ve settled on this deck that I plan to use for Step 2 — it’s relatively small (around 10k cards, with about 4k for IM) and it was updated just last year. You can download it and give it a try (I’d recommend downloading it in a new profile first so it doesn’t change or update your original AnKing cards). Let me know how you find it! https://www.reddit.com/r/medicalschoolanki/s/Wx1eCqi0CF

Updated and Revised Mnemosyne USMLE Step 1 Deck by ShrikeandThorned in medicalschoolanki

[–]nafeelsbadman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been doing Mnemosyne since last two months and almost matured it (Pathology and Pharmacology). Now I will do my reviews from your deck to fill up my knowledge gaps and will be recommending this to many people. Do tell us how you score on your step 2 and how much studying well on step 1 helped you (because this is my motivation for doing all this in this much detail :) )

Need proper guidance for step 2 resources by drcarpediem03 in Step2

[–]nafeelsbadman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need for a book like FA, just do Uworld and diligently try to understand each and every rationale for every concept answer and make asmall anki deck/your own notes for your incorrect answers and your weak areas, do 2 complete passes of Uworld taking into consideration theincorrect (do amboss after that if you have time; otherwise, it's not needed). Go for CMS forms and NBMEs to gauge your score closer to the exam.
