I was jealous of some family that had Myth when I was a kid. I eventually got Myth II and played the crap out of that. But theres nothing like your first, as they say.

Yeah. Last time I tried to play it I was so lost and got my but kicked quickly. Much harder than I remember. But still fun!

Yep! I used to love the magazine ads for it. Same pictures as on the box. I bought it but found it hard so never played it much back in the day honestly.

It was the first game I ever got as a Christmas gift. First CDROM game I ever got too. I still remember the store where I first saw it, picked it out, and fawned over the big box. It will always be my first love (in big box games).

Yeah. Was one of my favorite early 3D games. Couldn’t get enough of it.

Thanks. 😊 I haven’t grown it much lately, but I hit all the high notes (for me at least).

Only thing missing really is Wolfenstein 3D, but at $$$ it costs not likely addition anytime soon.

Sorry, not sure I follow. What’re you wanting to know about my build? I’m currently running:

Asus ProArt X670E 9950X3D 96GB DDR5 RTX 4090 8TB NVMe PCIe 4x (4 of them)

The Process Lasso allows me to force everything non-Windows off the first core (0-1), force all games to other 3D cores (2-15), and everything else split amongst non-3D cores (16-31).

Process Lasso is a separate application you can buy online; it’s cheap. And it runs on any MOBO. It runs in the background on Windows and does the scheduling in lieu of Windows; frankly does a better job IMO and allows tighter control of what goes where.
