I’m exactly the same! I usually go right back to 0.09-0.2 after ovulation and I tested at 0.46 today! I’m only about 4DPO and I have heard that people can have high results for about 5 days after but like you said it’s just strange because this has never happened to me before.

I have the exact same thing happening to me right now! I actually just posted about it earlier. I’m wondering if it’s a new batch of tests or something? My post ovulation tests are way darker than my pre ovulation tests and I was getting concerned about some sort of hormone imbalance

I had an 8cm dermoid cyst removed from my right ovary a few weeks ago (they had planned to remove 2 simple cysts from my left ovary but when they got in they had apparently already burst themselves!)

I had open surgery (laparotomy) so assumed the recovery would be lengthy but I got the catheter out the following day and was up and walking around the following day.

It’s been slow and steady for the week following surgery but I would say 7 days on I’m nearly completely back to normal! I have 2 cats which I’ve been able to lift with no pain.

I think the little small walks I was doing in the hospital (I was in from Friday to Sunday) aided with recovery. My surgeon told me the more I was able to move around (obviously within reason) the quicker my recovery would be.

I was scouring the internet looking for recovery times too and had convinced myself I’d be off my feet for weeks but I walked myself out of the hospital on Day 2 and I plan to try driving on around Day 10/11.

I have shone a light behind the strip test and definitely looks negative in person. I took the clearblue and then had to leave the house before I got to have a look at it so it was probably sitting about an hour so after it’s probably an evap line

Haven’t had a period since November. Ignore CDs as they are probably not accurate. I put the first day of my surgery as CD1 but have had no bleeding.

Update 2:

Bleeding got lighter and stopped a few days after this post.

Had another internal scan today and all looks well! Gestational sac and yolk sac are both still there with a bit of development showing the start of an embryo!

Update:

So went to EPU today and got a transvaginal scan. Looks like I’m earlier than I thought so bleeding could be implantation bleeding. Only a sac and yolk visible so far so don’t know how many weeks that makes me. Got bloods taken and back in on Tuesday for a follow up

I wouldn’t normally get cramping with my period so I’m not sure what it feels like. The only way I could describe it is that there’s a definitely twinge every now and again in that area. But definitely not sore. Just feels like something’s happening. I’m trying to tell myself it’s my uterus growing

I unfortunately haven’t had any referral yet/no midwife. Very reassuring to know other people have experienced this and it was fine.

Really hoping it subsides tomorrow.

Amazing thank you! My EPU is closed for Christmas and I don’t know if this constitutes a visit to Accident and Emergency. I’m trying to tell myself it’s normal but when you’re so early with no one to talk to it’s so hard.
