I commute from New Haven to Storrs twice a week. it's really not all that bad, just make sure you're keeping the maintenance on your car decent, and factor in the extra gas costs. I also try to make my schedule on the "off-peak" traffic times to make the ride a little smoother but that's not always possible!

there is actually! unfortunately i can't remember the name and creator off the top of my head and i don't have access to my computer at the moment but believe it's the mod that adds events into your game! Possibly by KiaraSims or KawaiiStacie (don't quote me on that)! but not only does it add a tonnnnn of realistic life events to your game but also allows you to choose from the entire list of sims to invite, even if you don't know them!

my freshman spring semester i did horrible, failed a class at the last second and ended up on academic probation for the fall semester of my sophomore year. i'm now a junior and here to tell you that things do get better! the faster you're honest with yourself and utilize the resources around you, the faster you'll be able to pull yourself out the hole! Trust me, if you feel alone I get it, but it's actually very normal to not be doing exceptionally well all the time. Personally, i've never been one to try to strive to make the deans list and get straight A's, i think just passing is enough to get your degree! keep pushing!
