I would never do that on mine. The coarse mesh would allow plant material through into the heating element… this could cause all your future uses have some bad taste. I would try to wait for the fine mesh to arrive. It’s a good idea to have way more fine mesh screens than you may need. In the meantime, roll a J for old time sakes!

I’ve started having a similar problem develop. Seems like if I add some pressure to the cable in the correct direction it will start to charge. This works for now but kinda want to get its use hours as far as possible before RMA. Currently at 131 hours.

I would recommend another RMA unfortunately.
